National figure skater Cha Junhwan opened up about his views on dating.
Recently, a video titled 'The 21st century figure prince Cha Junhwan' was posted on the Youtube channel 'No Prepare.'
On this episode, Lee Youngji greeted him by imitating his signature quadruple salchow jump from the start, making Cha Junhwan laugh as he said, "You're the first person to ever perform a quadruple salchow in front of me."
Maintaining his calm personality throughout the conversation, Cha Junhwan also honestly shared his thoughts on dating. When Lee Youngji mentioned rumors that he has been single his whole life, he burst into laughter and said, "I'm actually a workaholic. I'm completely obsessed with my work."
Lee Youngji joked, "Your lips twitched four times per second just now," jokingly doubting whether the rumor was true. Cha Junhwan said, "I feel like if I dated someone, I would negatively affect my partner." In response, Lee Youngji said, "I wouldn't date a guy like that," and he immediately agreed by saying, "Exactly," making everyone burst into laughter.
The conversation also turned to his ideal type. Cha Junhwan explained that he had previously mentioned Rosé as his ideal type, saying, "I really loved her music." When asked what his actual ideal type is, he answered, "Someone who works hard at what they do and is passionate." Lee Youngji immediately tried to flirt with him, but he bluntly said, "You don't look like you have any passion," sending the set into laughter.
Cha Junhwan also revealed his strict self-management routine. He shared that he is 180cm tall and weighs 65kg, saying, "I've never actually tried to lose weight. I just consistently maintain it." He also emphasized, "Eating healthy is the most important thing."
In particular, he also shocked everyone by confessing that he has never been to a PC bang before, saying, "It just happened that way because I was focusing so much on living my own life," to which Lee Youngji responded, "You really have lived such a diligent life."
Meanwhile, Cha Junhwan recently signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio, home to artists like Cha Eunwoo and Kim Seonho. He is expected to pursue entertainment activities like acting and variety shows alongside his athletic career.
