Model and entertainer Hong Jinkyung opened up about the emotional moment that made her cry after her divorce.

On the episode of MBC's 'Sora and Jinkyung' that aired on the 17th, Hong Jinkyung personally talked about her divorce.

That day, when Lee Sora mentioned her ex-husband, Hong Jinkyung said, "He's truly a good person. We're completely good friends now. Person to person, he's genuinely a very good friend," revealing that they still maintain a good relationship even after the divorce.

Hearing this, Lee Sora commented, "Isn’t he such a sweet person?" Hong Jinkyung replied, "There’s this cold noodle restaurant we used to visit often. Even after the divorce, the three of us, including Rael, still go there together to eat. We're completely cool with it, but the staff working there get really flustered," sharing a story about their post-divorce relationship.

Hong Jinkyung also shared, "Last Chuseok, I was home alone and reality suddenly hit me. I thought, 'It’s really over now.' So I called my ex mother-in-law just to check in on her, but I suddenly burst into tears. I cried so hard. It was the first time."

She continued calmly, "At that moment, my ex mother-in-law was actually the one comforting me. She told me, 'Jinkyung-ah, it’s okay. In life, all sort of things can happen, and I believe you'll still live well.' She also said, 'You’re Rael’s mother, so you need to stay strong and pull yourself together.' She was the one reassuring me instead," touching viewers emotionally.

In response, Lee Sora said, "There are so many different forms of relationships in this world. It's nice to hear your story," showing her support for Hong Jinkyung.

Meanwhile, Hong Jinkyung married a non-celebrity businessman in 2003, and the couple has a daughter named Rael. She announced their divorce last year.

NMIXX's Bae says, “Sullyoon falls asleep like a statue while sitting down … She wouldn't wake up”

NMIXX's member Bae shared a story about seeing Sullyoon fall asleep like a statue, even while sitting in a chair.

On the 16th, a video titled 'Baeddindol, General Seol, and NMIXX Vol. 3 (feat. Bae, Sullyoon)' was uploaded to the Youtube channel 'ggondaehee.'

The video featured NMIXX's Bae and Sullyoon appearing as guests and chatting with Ggondaehee (Kim Daehee).

Ggondaehee asked, "I heard Sullyoon sleeps really well regardless of time and place?" to which Sullyoon admitted, "I tend to sleep pretty well." When asked, "Just how well do you sleep exactly?" she joked, "I could probably fall asleep right now (while filming)", making everyone laugh.

In response, Bae added, "People usually say someone falls asleep as soon as their head touches a surface, right? Sullyoon falls asleep even without resting her head anywhere." Sullyoon then confessed that she had once fallen asleep while sitting upright.

Bae recalled the moment, saying, "We were in the middle of filming, and Sullyoon was on standby. Later when I looked over, she was literally asleep on the chair like a statue. Everyone else was busy moving around and doing their own thing, but Sullyoon alone was just sitting there like that. So I even started making content out of it, saying things like, 'There’s a statue over there. Everyone, look over there,' and I even took photos too. But she absolutely would not wake up." Sullyoon responded, "I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep at that time." When Ggondaehee commented, "I guess you don’t suffer from insomnia then," Sullyoon surprised everyone by confessing, "But I actually can’t sleep well in bed. I keep waking up in the middle of the night."

In addition, NMIXX's Sullyoon and Bae performed part of the choreography for their new song 'Heavy Serenade' on the spot, bringing out proud 'dad smiles' from Ggondaehee.

'The Wonderfools' star Choi Daehoon: “I was bewildered by the Cha Eunwoo controversy, but…”

'The Wonderfools' star Choi Daehoon spoke about Cha Eunwoo.

On the morning of the 18th, Choi Daehoon mentioned co-star Cha Eunwoo during an interview for the Netflix original series 'The Wonderfools,' held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu.

During the interview, Choi Daehoon addressed Cha Eunwoo's tax controversy by saying, "I first learned about the news after the editing for the project had already been completed. I can't say I wasn’t bewildered."

He continued, “However, all the staff members and actors worked extremely hard, and at that point, viewers' opinions and evaluations were unavoidable. I was simply grateful that the project could still be released, and I waited for the 15th with that feeling."

Before its release, 'The Wonderfools' became caught up in controversy surrounding its lead actor, Cha Eunwoo. In January, he was criticized over profit distribution issues involving  a one-person agency reportedly established under his mother's name. The National Tax Service reportedly determined the agency in question was a paper company with no actual business activity and carried out an intensive tax investigation. Later, he was notified of a large additional income tax payment.

Regarding the controversy, Cha Eunwoo personally addressed the matter through his Instagram on the 8th of last month in an effort to resolve the issue. He stated, "I respect the procedures and results of the National Tax Service and have paid all related taxes to prevent further confusion," adding, "I will also faithfully comply with the remaining procedures." It has been reported that the total amount of taxes he fully paid was approximately 13 billion KRW. Cha Eunwoo is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service as a member of the military band. 

Released on the 15th, 'The Wonderfools' is a sci-fi comedy adventure set in the late 1999. The story follows a group of eccentric neighborhood fools who accidentally gain superpowers and struggle to protect the world from villains threatening the peace. Choi Daehoon plays Son Kyunghoon, the infamous troublemaker of Haeseong City.

TWICE's Jeongyeon shed tears while expressing sincere feelings toward her older sister, actress Gong Seungyeon.

On the episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' that aired on the 17th, a preview clip was released on its official social media account with the caption: "Jeongyeon's hardest times. Gong Seungyeon, who always stayed by her side as her pillar of support."

In the video, Jeongyeon looked back at the time she temporarily halted her acitivities in 2020, saying, "At that time, I relied on my sister a lot. I was struggling mentally, and my sister said, 'Something seems wrong with your body,' and 'I think you should go to the hospital.'" She continued, "That’s how I was diagnosed. It was my first time hearing the word 'Cushing.' Thanks to my sister, I was able to receive treatment properly and become healthy again, so I’m very thankful."

Jeongyeon also openly expressed her affection for her sister. She said, "I'm so happy that my sister is doing really well and receiving a lot of love these days. I’m really grateful that she's my real older sister. Thank you, and I’m sorry," before eventually bursting into tears.

Watching this, Gong Seungyeon became emotional and shed tears as well. She said, "I didn’t expect her to talk about this. I'm sorry for hitting you," making everyone laugh while crying. Recalling those days, she shared, "Back then, Jeongyeon was struggling so much. I felt anxious leaving her alone. Even when she lived in the dorm, I kept visiting her, made her stay at our house, and wanted to keep her close to me. That’s why I suggested that we live together."

She continued, "I’m so thankful that she overcame it all. Hearing people say things like, 'She got so pretty' and 'She's back to her peak visual' makes me happy too," before adding, "My younger sister is someone who does everything sincerely no matter what she does. She does everything so well, so I have absolutely no doubts about her."

Actor Gong Myung revealed that his younger brother, NCT's Doyoung, makes significantly more money than he does.

On the episode of SBS' 'Running Man' that aired on the 17th, Gong Myung joined as guest alongside cast members Yoo Jaesuk, Ji Sukjin, Kim Jongkook, Haha, Song Jihyo, Yang Sechan, and Ji Yeeun.

In this episode, the production team showed Yoo Jaesuk's appearance in Yoon Jongshin's new music video for 'The Days Long Gone.' The music video gained attention for using AI to connect the past and present. Yoo Jaesuk explained, "Jongshin hyung called and asked for photos from my school days. Those were from my senior year of high school."

Yang Sechan pointed out, "Your front teeth really stuck out back then," and Yoo Jaesuk replied, "It changed a little because it was touched up with AI." When Yoo Jaesuk asked why he had built up his shoulders so much, Gong Myung explained, "There was a shirtless scene in my drama, so I worked out really hard." Kim Jongkook added, "He’s been exercising very consistently."

As Yoo Jaesuk passionately talked about scenes from the drama 'Filing for Love,' Gong Myung became touched and said, "You actually watched it?" before hugging him. Kim Jongkook then joked, "This hyung watches everything. He has nine monitors in his room."

Haha then told Gong Myung, "Don’t just take your shirt off in dramas. Show it to us here too." Haha added, "I even take off my pants," but Yoo Jaesuk dismissed him by saying, "You taking your pants off doesn't even make the news anymore." Haha fired back, "There were still two articles written about it!" making everyone laugh. Yoo Jaesuk responded, "How do you take your pants off and only get two articles out of it?"

Gong Myung’s younger brother is NCT's Doyoung. To this, Yoo Jaesuk commented, "Your parents must be so happy." Ji Sukjin then curiously asked, "Who makes more money?" Gong Myung answered, "Oh, definitely my younger brother," before adding, "In our family, we call him CEO. Like, 'Has the CEO arrived?'"

Previously, Park Bom paused her activities with 2NE1 due to health reasons. Since then, the group has been promoting as a three-member group.

Following Park Bom's hiatus, rumors of conflict within the group began circulating. In March, Park Bom uploaded posts that appeared to express frustration regarding her past drug controversy, while also including a message seemingly aimed at Sandara Park. TripleS' Kim Yooyeon personally addresses smoking rumors: "I’ve never smoked ... Even my parents are upset about it"

After discussing various topics throughout the episode, host Lee Yongjin told Kim Yooyeon, "Lastly, please clear up something you really want people to know." As if she had been waiting for the chance, Kim Yooyeon responded, "When people search my name, because of something from the past, they think I smoke. Honestly, I feel really wronged because I've never even tried cigarettes or vaping. Those related search terms keep appearing and it makes my parents really upset. Smoking itself isn't wrong, but I personally don't smoke."

After hearing this, Lee Yongjin jokingly said, "So, you have quit smoking," which caused Kim Yooyeon to react strongly by saying, "My entire life depends on clearing this up right now. Kim Yooyeon first became involved in smoking rumors after appearing on the YouTube channel 'Nobacktack' in 2024. In the video, when Tak Jaehoon noted that she could not drink alcohol, he jokingly asked if she relieved stress through smoking instead. While fellow member Kim Nakyeong appeared surprised, Kim Yooyeon smiled and replied, "I relieve stress through singing and dancing." The clip later went viral and led to ongoing smoking rumors. South Korea’s famous 'Chungju City PR Man,' Kim Seontae, met Sullyoon, known as one of K-Pop's top visuals, at the headquarters of JYP Entertainment and created a legendary exchange full of playful teasing.

On the 15th, a video titled 'Promoting Sullyoon' was uploaded to Kim Seontae’s YouTube channel, featuring Sullyoon as a guest.

In the video, Kim Seontae asked, "Since when did you know you were pretty? You have to answer honestly." Sullyoon shocked him by saying, "Honestly, since I was old enough to understand words," making everyone laugh. That day, Sullyoon also promoted NMIXX’s 5th mini-album title track, 'Heavy Serenade,' which was released on the 11th. She described it as a song that begins with a dreamy intro before exploding into a powerful rock sound. She then performed part of the song live on the spot. After hearing her unique vocal tone and live singing skills firsthand, Kim Seontae dropped his joking attitude and showed genuine admiration, further raising anticipation for the new song.

In the video, Yoo Jaesuk asked, "I heard you entered SM Entertainment after winning the 'best looks' title in a gayageum competition. I'm curious who your fellow trainees were at the time.'

In response, Gong Seungyeon said, "There were members of Girls' Generation, Super Junior, Red Velvet, EXO, and more," before adding, "At that time, I didnt really have natural talent, so I wasn’t good at singing or dancing. There was a reason I couldn’t debut."

She continued, "When I ultimately failed to debut and left the agency, I felt completely lost. I didn’t know how to begin on my own."

Gong Seungyeon recalled, "One day, while I was just lying around at home, my mother bluntly said, 'How long are you going to waste your life at home?'" She added, "That snapped me back to reality. So after that, I went around meeting my acquaintances and earnestly asked them to give me audition opportunities."
