'40 year old' Kim Jaejoong becomes a grandfather … "The first-ever ‘grandpa idol’ in idol history"

Singer and actor Kim Jaejoong (40) shared that his nephew recently had a baby, making him the first K-Pop idol to officially become a 'K-Grandfather.'

On the episode of KBS2's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' that aired on the 15th, Kim Jaejoong invited his close friends Choi Jinhyuk, Yoon Shiyoon, and Yoo Seonho to his family home and prepared them a nourishing meal. While talking to his mother during the cooking, Kim Jaejoong revealed the news by saying, "My nephew had a baby. That means I have my first grandchild now, right?"

Kim Jaejoong had previously shared the news of his nephew's pregnancy a year ago through 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.' On this day, he excitedly said, "I've finally become a grandfather. It feels realy strange." In response, MC Boom offered his congratulations, saying, "With the birth of the fourth generation in your family of nine siblings, the total number of your family members has now grown to 34."

Kim Jaejoong's 'grandfather' story had previously been mentioned on KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' in January. At the time, while meeting actor Shim Hyungtak, he honestly shared, "My nephew, who is my second older sister's son, is only four years younger than me. He recently got married and had a child. Once that child starts talking, they'll call me 'Grandfather,' which gives me a very strange feeling."

Immediately after the broadcast, fans reacted with comments such as, "The youngest and most handsome grandfather in the world," "A family with 34 members is incredible," and "The first idol to become a grandfather. That's hilarious."

Jo Jungsuk opened up about his second daughter, who was born in January this year.

On the 15th, Jo Jungsuk held a live broadcast through the YouTube channel 'Cheonggyesan Daengi Records.'

During the livestream, Jo Jungsuk particulary drew attention by talking about the looks and personalities of both his first and second daughters.

Jo Jungsuk explained, "I haven’t revealed my children’s faces because I want to protect their privacy. When they grow older, I plan to decide whether to reveal them depending on what they want."

He continued, "A lot of people ask who the kids take after. My first daughter looks a lot like me, so I hoped the second daughter would look like Gummy. But I was shocked because the second daughter looks even more like me than the first. She’s basically just me. But her personality is more like Gummy's," before joking, "So there are basically three Jo Jungsuks and one Gummy in our house."

He also personally revealed, "My first daughter's name is Jo Yewon, and my second daughter's name is Jo Ayeon," showing affection for his two daughters.

Meanwhile, Jo Jungsuk married singer Gummy in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first daughter in 2020. They welcomed their second daughter this past January.

'40 year old' Yoon Shiyoon reveal why he still isn't married … "My mother hates it when I date"

On 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' actor Yoon Shiyoon revealed that his mother is the reason he hasn't gotten married yet. 

On the episode of KBS2's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' that aired on the 15th, Kim Jaejoong invited his close friends Choi Jinhyuk, Yoon Shiyoon, and Yoo Seonho to his house, where they ended up talking about marriage. 

That day, Kim Jaejoong, Yoon Shiyoon, and Choi Jinhyuk attracted attention for all being born in 1986. However, since Yoon Shiyoon was born in September, he naturally addressed Kim Jaejoong and Choi Jinhyuk as 'Hyung.' Even when Kim Jaejoong said, "You can speak casually to us," Yoon Shiyoon firmly replied, "In social life, it's more beneficial to be the younger one," causing everyone to burst into laughter. 

The conversation naturally shifted to marriage. Choi Jinhyuk confessed, "My mom doesn't pressure me to get married, but she nags me about everything else," before adding, "I think she dislikes it when I have a girlfriend. It feels like she actually doesn't want me to get married."

Kim Jaejoong commented, "If you live with your mom, you can't date, and if you don't date, you can't get married. Moms are like bunkers." Choi Jinhyuk strongly agreed, "It's really hard to date."

Choi Jinhyuk also revealed, "Whenever I'm talking to someone on the phone, my mom listens to the entire conversation," and added, "The next day, I heard her repeating exactly what I talked with my friend while she was on the phone with her own friend."

Yoon Shiyoon, who had previously stated that he has no plans to marry within the next four years, also agreed, saying, "My mom tells me to get married, but deep down I think she hates the idea too." He especially surprised everyone by sharing a story from a past date with an ex-girlfriend. 

Yoon Shiyoon explained, "A long time ago, I was riding in my mom's car to go on a date with my girlfriend. I asked her to drop me off in the station, but she just drove right past the station."

He continued, "When I said, 'Mom, I told you to drop me off,' she suddenly shouted, 'I don't know!' while gripping the steering wheel and crying uncontrollably," making everyone burst into laughter. 

After hearing the story, Kim Jaejoong asked, "So, you're basically saying that you're not getting married because of your mother?" and Yoon Shiyoon jokingly but honestly replied, "Honestly, yes. My mother is the reason I can't get married." 

Choi Jinhyuk also agreed, saying, "That's honestly a huge reason for me too." Since both Yoon Shiyoon and Choi Jinhyuk are only sons, Yoon Shiyoon analyzed, "It's because mothers see their sons as the only person they can rely on," drawing even more laughter.

Red Velvet's Joy personally addressed rumors claiming that she was preparing to retire from the entertainment industry.

Recently, through the fan communication platform Bubble, Joy explained, "I'm learning pet grooming because I want to do volunteer work in the future. Something I said out of a joke blew up and articles keep making it seem like I'm retiring. Please don't misunderstand. Singing and acting are still what I love the most."

She continued, "I have no plans to retire," and added, "People keep saying that I'm 'preparing for a second life' or 'preparing for retirement.' I'm still actively and promoting very hard."

Previously, on the episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone' that aired on the 15th, Joy's daily life while preparing for a pet groomer certification was revealed. During the show, she said, "I'm taking on a big challenge this year, so I have to study hard," before heading to a pet grooming academy. She explained, "This is where people study and train to get a pet groomer license. I've been attending this academy for two months now."

Joy also explained why she decided to learn pet grooming, saying, "When I thought about how I would live if I could no longer do this job, I felt it would be good to have another skill," and added, "Since I love dogs, I decided to learn pet grooming." She also expressed her wish to use the skill for volunteer work helping abandoned dogs. 

Meanwhile, Red Velvet's Joy and singer Crush have been publicly dating since 2021. The two reportedly formed a connection and became close while working for 'Mayday,' which was released in May 2020. 

Last November, Crush showed his affection by performing a conglatulatory song at the wedding of Joy's younger sister.

Wedding photos of APINK's Yoon Bomi and producer Rado has been revealed for the first time. 

On the evening of the 15th, a photographer shared a wedding pictorial of the soon-to-be-married couple, Rado and Yoon Bomi. 

In the released photos, the couple showed a variety of concepts, ranging from black-and-white themes to natural snapshot-style scenes. In particular, Yoon Bomi radiated an elegant and pure charm in a wedding dress with standout details, while Rado added a chic atmosphere with a classic suit look.

In another photo, Yoon Bomi created a dreamy mood as she looked into the camera while wearing a veil, while Rado showed his natural charm with a bright smile. 

Given that music is something they share in common, the couple also expressed their unique personalities through a recording studio concept. Their playful snapshot photos also created a warm atmosphere, showing the delightful chemistry of a couple who have been together for nine years.

The photographer, who is also in charge of the couple's wedding ceremony today (16th), said, "It was such a pleasure to be part of this wedding shoot for two individuals with full of personality. I will also do my best to beautifully capture the wedding."

Meanwhile, Yoon Bomi and Rado will hold their wedding ceremony today at Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Yoon Bomi, born in 1993, and Rado, born in 1984, overcame their nine-year age gap and are getting married after dating for around nine years. 

APINK, STAYC, and UNCHILD will perform the congratulatory songs at the wedding, while comedian Kim Kiri, who is close to both Yoon Bomi and Rado, will host the ceremony. 

Yoon Bomi debuted in 2011 with APINK. She reportedly formed a connection with Rado while promoting APINK's 'Only One.'
