2AM's Jokwon just confirmed that he and Brown Eyed Girl's Gain (the iconic 'Adam Couple') are still as close as ever.

On the 3rd, Jokwon appeared as a guest in a video uploaded to Cao Lu's Youtube channel, where he got super honest about his time on MBC's 'We Got Married' and where he and Gain stand today.

During the episode, Cao Lu pointed out how rare it is for couples from the show to actually stay in touch after it ends. Jokwon totally agreed, saying:

"We kept in contact even after the show ended. We don't meet very often, but we check in on each other. If our schedules line up, we'll have a meal or grab a drink together."

Jokwon also cleared up the most common misconception about how 'We Got Married' actually worked. He said, "It wasn't scripted like a drama," and explained that only the filming schedules and missions were planned in advance, while most of the dialogue and actions just happened naturally. He recalled:

"When I rewatched the old footage, I realized we actually kissed a lot more than I remembered."

He specifically reminisced about their very first kiss on the lips, which happened while they were skating at the Grand Hyatt Hotel ice rink. Naturally, Cao Lu asked the ultimate question: "Do you still kiss when you meet now?" Jokwon actually hesitated for a second, before giving the most honest answer:

"To be honest, if we've been drinking, sometimes we'll give each other a kiss on the cheek."

Jokwon also shared that they actually reunited last year, saying, "Our schedules didn't match for a while, but last year we finally met up. We had a meal, grabbed a drink, and even took some photobooth pictures together."

He added, "When I posted them on social media, the reaction was so much bigger than I expected. There were so many articles and comments that I joked to Gain Noona, 'Shouldn't we do something together?'"

For those who didn't know, Jokwon and Gain earned massive popularity for starring in 'We Got Married' back in 2009 to 2010. They even took home the Best Newcomer awards at the 2010 MBC Entertainment Awards. Their fictional marriage has turned into a real-life genuine friendship where they still support each other more than a decade later.

Brown Eyed Girls, what is the secret behind their longevity of 14 years? "We don't even have each other's numbers"

Brown Eyed Girls to release a new album after 4 years, "Our 4 years hiatus was Gain's fault, the secret behind our longevity is that we're not close to each other"

So the secret to their long-run is "They're not close to each other"

[+199][-1]

1. [+145][-1] That doesn't necessarily mean they're only business partners. You know how we can meet our closest friends after a few years and not feel awkward around each other, right. It's like meeting the friends you used to be close to when you were in middle school. Lee Changsub explains his 10 years of friendship with Park Chorong this way, too. They would contact each other after 3 months, but it feels like they just met up yesterday and it's not awkward at all. Groups like Apink and Brown Eyed Girls don't have to hang out together often to keep their long-run

2. [+122][-2] Guys, you know that you can only say things like that to people you're close to, right?

3. [+108][-7] Apink also doesn't hang out together that often, they don't interfere with each other's private life, etc. Apink also asks fans to respect their private life.

4. [+50][-0] They're seriously so coolㅋㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+38][-0] I think, the older the group gets, the better it is if they maintain their relationship as business partner only...

6. [+32][-0] They may say something like that, but they actually care for each other... You technically can say that the older members practically raised Gain when she was younger.

7. [+20][-0] You can see this in Apink, too. They respect each other's private life and barely have any mutual friends. But as a business partner of 10 years, they also have attached to each other emotionally. It's such a great sight to see them supporting each other.
