2AM's Jokwon just confirmed that he and Brown Eyed Girl's Gain (the iconic 'Adam Couple') are still as close as ever.

On the 3rd, Jokwon appeared as a guest in a video uploaded to Cao Lu's Youtube channel, where he got super honest about his time on MBC's 'We Got Married' and where he and Gain stand today.

During the episode, Cao Lu pointed out how rare it is for couples from the show to actually stay in touch after it ends. Jokwon totally agreed, saying:

"We kept in contact even after the show ended. We don't meet very often, but we check in on each other. If our schedules line up, we'll have a meal or grab a drink together."

Jokwon also cleared up the most common misconception about how 'We Got Married' actually worked. He said, "It wasn't scripted like a drama," and explained that only the filming schedules and missions were planned in advance, while most of the dialogue and actions just happened naturally. He recalled:

"When I rewatched the old footage, I realized we actually kissed a lot more than I remembered."

He specifically reminisced about their very first kiss on the lips, which happened while they were skating at the Grand Hyatt Hotel ice rink. Naturally, Cao Lu asked the ultimate question: "Do you still kiss when you meet now?" Jokwon actually hesitated for a second, before giving the most honest answer:

"To be honest, if we've been drinking, sometimes we'll give each other a kiss on the cheek."

Jokwon also shared that they actually reunited last year, saying, "Our schedules didn't match for a while, but last year we finally met up. We had a meal, grabbed a drink, and even took some photobooth pictures together."

He added, "When I posted them on social media, the reaction was so much bigger than I expected. There were so many articles and comments that I joked to Gain Noona, 'Shouldn't we do something together?'"

For those who didn't know, Jokwon and Gain earned massive popularity for starring in 'We Got Married' back in 2009 to 2010. They even took home the Best Newcomer awards at the 2010 MBC Entertainment Awards. Their fictional marriage has turned into a real-life genuine friendship where they still support each other more than a decade later.

2AM's Jokwon just had the most honest, unfiltered conversation about money with TVXQ's Max Changmin, 2PM's Jun.K, and GOT7's Jay B in the latest video posted on 'Saego_F5' Youtube channel on the 30th.

It all started off when Changmin asked the three former JYP artists about their very first paychecks. The contrast between how they started out vs. how the system works now is actually insane.

Jokwon dropped the biggest shocker, revealing that his first-ever paycheck after debuting was 240,000 KRW (which is only about $154 today). He explained how brutal the old contract system was:

"I trained for about eight years. Back then, trainees had to repay the company for every single cent invested in them out of their earnings."

He continued, "Around 2008, right after I debuted, the Korea Fair Trade Commission changed the rules so companies had to absorb those trainee investment costs. However, until Jun.K and I debuted, those costs were still our responsibility."

Because of that debt, Jokwon didn't receive his paychecks until exactly three years after his debut. During those three years, he was literally everywhere. He had become hugely popular through his iconic 'Kkap Kwon' character and 'We Got Married.' He said:

"I remember my first settlement statement perfecly because it was the first time it didn't have a minus sign. It was 240,000 KRW. Even though it was tiny, I was incredibly grateful."

He added, "The very next day, I ran straight to a mobile phone store to pay my phone bill with money I had earned myself for the first time."

Jun.K had a slightly different experience. He trained for about four years, which was the longest among the 2PM members. He said, "Thankfully, 2PM received a ton of attention right from our debut song, '10 Out of 10," but added:

"But we barely received any paychecks for about two years. I think I got my first paycheck around 'I'll Be Back' or 'Without You' promotions. It was about 5 million KRW (which is around $3,220 now)."

Meanwhile, Jay B had a much smoother financial start because he debuted after the Fair Trade Commission rules had already changed. He recalled:

"After getting my first paycheck, I talked it over with my parents and decided to save it all in one account instead of spending it. I still manage my money the exact same way today."

Hearing all these stories, Changmin couldn't help but realize how different things were over at SM Entertainment. He said:

"Thinking about it now, our first paycheck was actually quite large."

He admitted that because he didn't really have anything specific he wanted to buy at the time, he simply gave all of that money straight to his parents.

Honestly, hearing them look back on those early idol days makes you realize just how much the industry has evolved. I mean, imagine being one of the biggest stars on TV and only taking home enough to cover your phone bill.

On 'AGJ,' singer Jokwon showed off his unique variety show charm.

On the episode of SBS' 'AGJ' that aired on the 5th, Jokwon appeared as a guest and took over the studio with candid confessions and spectacular performances.

On this day, MC Tak Jaehoon casually remarked, “Jokwon, you should get married," and Jokwon replied, "I'm already 38 now," before honestly talking about his concerns about dating, saying, "But seriously, there's nobody around me."

He continued, "I've actually caught the wedding bouquet five times. Every single time, I even spun around while catching it," making everyone laugh.

Later, Lee Suji asked, "I heard Park Jinyoung once said you were the singer he almost gave up on the most." Jokwon responded, "I performed 'Wa' by Lee Junghyun on a TV show, and people online went wild saying I was being Kkap (NB: too much.)" He then confidently added, "When it comes to going over-the-top, I've never lost to anyone."

Then Lee Sangmin brought up the high heels, saying, "Dancing in heels is really difficult," which led Jokwon to reveal his personal high heel collection.

Regarding how he initially got into heel dancing, Jokwon shared, "Back then, Bang Sihyuk hyung suggested, 'Let’s try wearing high heels without he back heels,' and that’s how it all began. Lower-body strength is really important for heel dancing. Now, I can even do squats while wearing them. He then effortlessly performed a dance while wearing the heels.

He added, "The heels I wore during promotions were actually 20cm tall. After seeing them, Kim Hyesoo Sunbaenim even sent me several pairs, which I'm keeping safely preserved."

Watching Jokwon's heel dance performance, Kim Eungsoo expressed his admiration, saying, "You should come perform this at my 70th birthday party," making the entire studio burst into laughter.

2AM's Lim Seulong revealed behind-the-scenes stories from his early debut days.

On the 16th, Lim Seulong appeared with fellow member Jung Jinwoon on the Youtube channel run by Super Junior's Donghae and eunhyuk, where they reminisced about the past.

He said, "2AM an 2PM originally debuted to take down Super Junior," revealing their goals at the time. He added, "We were originally one group because he goal was to take down TVXQ."

He continued, "Then Super Junior debuted. Since Super Junior started out as one group but later formed sub-units, we decided to start as units (2AM and 2PM) and then combine later," explaining how 2AM and 2PM were formed.

To this, Donghae responded, "We heard that 2AM and 2PM would eventually come together as one group, so we were also looking forward to it. We kept wondering, 'When on earth is this going to happen?'"

Regarding this, Lim Seoulong replied, "We actually did it once in Japan," adding, "We promoted as a group called 'One Day.'"

He explained, "Since it's 2AM and 2PM, that's 12 hours and 12 hours combined, which is why it was called 'One Day.'"

On November 2, Jokwon shared on his Instagram, writing, "Gaga, who I thought would be 1 year old forever, has now turned 12. As she's gotten older, her eyes have turned cloudy, she can barely see from her left eye, her hearing is getting weaker, and her hair has turned white," updating fans on his dog's condition.

He continued, "It seems my dog has been sick for a while. She suddenly lost a lot of weight and finally showed me signs that something was wrong. During Chuseok, a tumor was found in her small intestine, and she had a major surgery to remove it."

Jokwon explained, "The test showed that the tumor was malignant. She was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma. Because the prognosis is not good, I always rush home to Gaga right after my musical rehearsals and other schedules end."

He added, "The doctors said the cancer cells are spreading faster than expected. Gaga will start chemotherapy soon, right before my first musical performance. As her guardian, I'm going to do everything I can," as he asked fans to keep Gaga in their prayers.

Meanwhile, Jokwon, a member of the ballad group 2AM, will meet audiences in the musical show 'Rent' starting on November 9.

-I really loved the Adam Couple. They were so cute.

They all have great body proportions

Even Day6 who is a band and 2AM who is a ballad group, also have good body proportions

-The members don't have huge gap in height, the balance in the groups are really great

-You put 'JYP Ent. idols' on the title but didn't include my biases... I'm sad...

-I feel like a lot of JYP Ent. idols have long arms and legs, especially armsㅇㅇ But I thought the post would be about something more specific like 'The youngest members are the tallest ones in the groups'ㅋㅋㅋBut this doesn't apply to Day6, does it?

-The members have similar body proportions and it looks so fascinatingㅋㅋㅋ And it's so weird to see people calling 2AM as a ballad groupㅋㅋ

-Most of JYP Ent. idols have long arms and legs, also great body proportions in general. That's why they all look very beautiful when they dance.

-Didn't Park Jinyoung once talk about this and said 'Because body proportions and physical figure can't be fixed with a plastic surgery'?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I've thought about this before. Even the shortest members also have great body proportions and it's fascinating.

-That's why idols from JYP Ent. look very beautiful when they dance...

-Let's start off with Park Jinyoung himself, he has long arms and legs...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-I agreeㅋㅋㅋ Twice's Chaeyoung is quite short, but she has long arms and legs, also great body proportions...

-The OP is speaking the truth...

-I have never stanned any of JYP Ent. idols but I totally agree with this post. Even Park Jinyoung himself has long arms and legs.

-What's wrong with Wonpil's outfitsㅠㅠㅠ

-What... You're saying that Yoobin is 160cm tall???? That's very shocking, I thought she was like 167cm or something...

The characteristics of JYP Ent. idols
