Lee Junyoung looked back on his early days with U-KISS and got incredibly honest about his career struggles on the episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' that aired on the 8th.

Lee Junyoung joined U-KISS as a new member back in 2014. To get ready for the stage with the rest of the group, he had to quickly memorize the choreography and lyrics for over 20 songs right before his debut. But it turned out that hard work was nothing compared to what came next.  As the group's domestic promotions started to decline, he was forced into a long hiatus. He admitted:

"When I watched the big year-end award shows, my friends were up on stage receiving cheers from the crowd. I kept wondering, 'We are in the same line of work, so why am I just sitting here instead?'"

With U-KISS on a long break and no individual schedules coming in, he wasn't making any money at all. To get through the tough financial times, he secretly started working the night shift at a convenience store right near his house.

The hardest, most heartbreaking moment came one night when he unexpectedly ran into his own manager. He recalled:

"My manager came in to buy cigarettes, and I was so embarrassed. I never wanted him to find out. I couldn't say a word, and I just cried my eyes out."

It gets even more emotional. He later found out that after his manager drove him home that night, the manager was so heartbroken that he cried in the car too.

Despite having to work a part-time job just to make ends meet, Lee Junyoung refused to give up on his dreams. During that tough hiatus, he decided to try acting. Without any connections, he had to find scripts on his own and teach himself how to act from scratch.  He confessed:

"Becoming an actor wasn't easy either. I failed more than 100 auditions. But I endured because I believed I just had to keep moving forward. I survived by telling myself, 'You can't let yourself get exhausted. You have to keep going.'"

And thank God he did, because his hard work completely paid off. He gradually built a strong acting career, starring in hit dramas and movies like 'Mask Girl,' 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' 'Weak Hero Class 2,' and more. To top it all off, his latest drama 'Reborn Rookie,' recently wrapped up with a nationwide viewer ratings of 13.6%. Following this project, he is officially set to enlist in the military on the 21st.

Former U-KISS' Lee Junyoung reveals he secretly worked at a convenience store during career slump

Actor Lee Junyoung is opening up about the worst parts of his early career.

At the end of the broadcast of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' that aired on the 1st, they dropped the preview for the next episode featuring him. In the clip, he gets super honest about the cold treatment and hurtful stereotypes he encountered while transitioning from an idol to an actor.

When host Yoo Jaesuk asked him, "What was the most hurtful thing anyone has ever said to you?" Lee Junyoung revealed that someone actually told him:

"'Don't cause trouble for the actors.'"

He opened up about how people questioned his acting skills and even assumed he'd be a burden to the production and his co-stars simply because he was an idol

He also recalled the hardships he went through in his unknown years, sharing a story he's rarely ever spoken about:

"I was working part-time at a convenience store, and my manager came in to buy cigarettes. I was so embarrassed that I cried a lot."

As soon as that emotional preview aired, the internet went into full detective mode trying to figure out who said that to him. Speculations immediately pointed toward novelist So Jaewon, but he quickly refuted the rumors

On the 2nd, So Jaewon took to his social media to clarify everything, saying:

"I'm not the person who said that to actor Lee Junyoung."

He also explained, "It's true that Lee Junyoung appeared in one of my works. It was in 2018, when he was just beginning his acting career. I think that's why people misunderstood." In fact, the two actually worked together on the 2019 OCN drama 'Class of Lies,' which was adapted from So Jaewon's novel of the same name.

He added, "I have never said anything that degrading to any actor," and strongly criticized the people flooding his DMs with abusive messages based on speculations, calling their behavior 'extremely reckless.' He concluded:

"If what I'm saying isn't true, then Lee Junyoung or his agency is free to take action against me."

For a quick recap, Lee Junyoung first entered the entertainment industry in 2014 as a member of U-KISS, and later promoted with the group UNB

He started his acting career in the 2017 drama 'Avengers Social Club' and has since built up his filmography by starring in dramas like 'Class of Lies,' 'Good Casting,' 'Please Don't Date Him,' 'Imitation,' 'D.P.',  'Let Me Be Your Knight,' and more.

Right now, he is starring as the lead in JTBC's weekend drama 'Reborn Rookie,' where he plays two roles at once: a wealthy company chairman who gets into an accident and wakes up in the body of a young soccer player, forced to return to his own company as a rookie employee.

U-KISS Eli's ex-wife Ji Yeonsoo got incredibly honest about the realities of single parenting on her Youtube channel.

In her video that was posted on the 29th, she sat down to talk about what it's really like trying to balance everything on your own.

While listening to their stories, she opened up about her own situation, revealing exactly how much child support she gets from her ex-husband, Eli (formerly of U-KISS):

"I receive 850,000 KRW (around $550) a month in child support (from Eli). The legal minimum child support amount is 640,000 KRW (around $413)."

Ji Yeonsoo pointed out how broken the system is, saying, "The cost of living keeps rising, but the child support standards haven't kept up with reality. It's nowhere near enough." She explained:

"Rather than relying solely on child support, it's more realistic for me to find part-time work."

To make ends meet, she revealed that she's been working part-time as a server at a Seollongtang (Ox bone soup) restaurant, and it's taken such a toll on her body that she's suffering from severe wrist pain.

On top of the physical pain, she explained that simply keeping a job as a single parent is incredibly hard, saying, "But when your child is young, the daycare can suddenly call because they're sick or have a fever, and you have to pick them up immediately. You can't take your child to work with you, so who would hire you easily? That's the reality for single mothers."

For a little bit of context, Ji Yeonsoo married Eli (who is 11 years younger than her) back in 2014. They had their son, Minsoo, in 2016, but ended up getting a divorce in 2020. The two actually appeared together later on TV Chosun 'We Got Divorced 2' to show what their relationship looked like post-divorce.

Meanwhile, Eli recently announced that he is getting remarried to a non-celebrity woman who he has been dating for about three years since December 2022.

U-KISS Eli's ex-wife Ji Yeonsoo reveals how much child support she receives

Former U-KISS member Eli just announced he's getting remarried, and everyone has been waiting to see how his ex-wife Ji Yeonsoo would respond as his past comments where he said he 'doesn't think he can remarry' are being brought back into the spotlight.

According to a recent report by OSEN on the past 11th, Eli announced his remarriage by revealing wedding photos with his fiancée on his social media. He stated, "The past six years have been the most difficult yet transformative time of my life," and added:

"During that journey, I met a wonderful woman who brought me understanding, happiness, and peace. I have found someone to spend the rest of my life with."

The reason why his remarriage is getting so much attention is because Eli was pretty negative about it when he and Ji Yeonsoo reunited on TV Chosun's 'We Got Divorced 2.' At the time, when Ji Yeonsoo asked if he ever thought about remarrying, he said, "Of course I've thought about it," but added:

"We met, got married, had a child, and ended up here. If I had to do it all over again, I don't think I could."

Furthermore, he even told his friends later on, "We can't get back together. I don't love her as a woman."

Now, four years later after the show ended, Eli has made the choice to move on with a new partner.

On the 22nd, Ji Yeonsoo shared her thoughts on her Youtube channel, stating, "I sincerely congratulate him. I really do. Congratulations," and added, "But honestly, does my opinion even matter?"

It turns out that she actually knew about Eli's upcoming wedding beforehand. She shared, "I knew he was getting married. I just didn't know when exactly." Her main worry wasn't about the marriage itself, but how it might affect her son. She admitted:

"My biggest concern was Minsoo has to go to school tomorrow. I was worried that other parents might know who Minsoo's dad is, and that Minsoo might hear something and get hurt."

She also shared her thoughts about Eli changing his mind about staying single, saying, "It seems like he once said he wouldn't remarry. But he's still in his 30s. He's at an age where he can remarry, have children, and live his life." She added, "I've already found my happiness first. Honestly, I really enjoy living with Minsoo, just the two of us. I think he is finding his happiness a bit later than me."

Ji Yeonsoo also mentioned that their son, Minsoo, is fully aware of Eli's remarriage. She shared, "Minsoo knows too. We congratulated him. I mean, were we supposed to not congratulate him?" She continued, "Now that the decision is made, I hope he lives well and is happy."

In particular, Ji Yeonsoo emphasized that she is keeping her focus entirely on being a mom, saying:

"My number one priority is always Minsoo. Anything not related to Minsoo is not a big deal. Even if the universe exploded, Minsoo falling down would be a bigger issue for me."

To recap their history, Ji Yeonsoo and Eli married in 2014 and had their son, Minsoo, before divorcing in 2020. They later appeared together on 'We Got Divorced 2,' which sparked a lot of rumors about them getting back together, but they ultimately chose to live their separate lives while co-parenting.

According to a recent report by MTN, Eli (35, real name Kim Kyungjae), a former member of U-KISS, has announced that he is getting remarried.

On the 11th, Eli posted wedding photos on his social media along with the caption, "The past six years have been some of the most challenging and transformative years of my life," adding:

"Along the way, I was blessed to have met a wonderful woman who brought understanding, happines, and peace into my life."

He continued, "Her patience and support have helped me navigate some of the hardest times and have made the good moments even more meaningful," and added:

"I'm grateful to share that I have found the person I will be sharing the rest of my life with."

He also wrote, "To everyone who has supported me over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whether you supported me through UKISS, friendship, prayer, or simple words of encouragement, your kindness has carried me through more than you may ever realize."

Meanwhile, Eli debuted in 2008 as a member of U-KISS. In 2014, he married Ji Yeonsoo, a former racing model who is 11 years older than him. The couple had a son together, but they divorced in 2020. The two later drew significant attention in 2022 by appearing on TV Chosun's 'We Got Divorced 2.'

Actor Lee Junyoung expressed his gratitude for Park Jihoon, Yim Siwan, and Do Kyungsoo, who are the representative examples of successful idol-turned-actors.

On the 20th, Lee Junyoung appeared on the segment 'Guerrilla Ha Jiyoung' from Ha Jiyoung's Youtube channel,  where he met broadcaster Ha Jiyoung in Myeongdong.

Lee Junyoung mentioned that roles with masculine personalities that are completely opposite from his real-life image, such as Geum Seongje in 'Weak Hero Class 2,' Jung Hyunmin in 'D.P.,' and Choi Buyong in 'Mask Girl,' left strong impressions on viewers. He then joked, "In reality, I'm actually gentle and affectionate."

Lee Junyoung also brought up his role of a rookie employee in JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama 'Reborn Rookie' and calmly reflected on difficult memories from his own rookie years.

He confessed, "It was completely different from what I had imagined," explaining that he believed things would work out smoothly after his debut, but instead ended up facing even tougher competition due to the endless debut of younger idol groups.

Furthermore, Lee Junyoung also shocked viewers by revealing that when he first began acting in 2017 following his debut with U-KISS in 2014, he was deeply hurt by comments saying, "Don't ruin things for actors who actually deserve to succeed."

He continued, "People assume idols must get plenty of opportunities, but that isn't necessarily true. I went to countless auditions. I felt like if I gave up at that point, I'd become a failure."

Mentioning idol-turned-actors such as Park Jihoon, Yim Siwan, Do Kyungsoo, and more, Lee Junyoung said, "I'm relieved and grateful that they succeeded as idol-turned-actors. I hope to see even more idol-turned-actors in the future."

'Reborn Rookie,' starring Lee Junyoung, is scheduled to premiere on the 30th at 10.40 PM (KST).

U-KISS' ex-member Shin Dongho responded to more allegations from his ex-wife, A, saying, "If you have something to say, file a lawsuit and speak through a lawyer."

On the 26th, Dongho wrote on his social media, saying, "I'm really sorry, but you were the one who first started posting on Instagram using our son's account. So why are you playing victim, trying to protect your family from me?"

He continued, "I think you're under a big misunderstanding. Who are you and I to be talking about giving interviews and revealing everything? We're just ordinary people. Even if I used to be a celebrity, no one is that curious about our family history, yet you're bringing it out into the public."

Dongho added, "Don't act like you're the victim, saying it's all for the sake of our son. If you have something to say, file a lawsuit and speak through a lawyer. Don't forget that you're the one who started this whole mess. I hope you come back to your senses, even though it may already be too late to turn back."

Previously, A had claimed on social media that Dongho's affair was the main reason for their divorce, that he badmouthed her in front of their child, and that he failed to pay child support properly.

In response, Dongho said, "Go ahead and make this public. Reporters, please share this." He then added, "People are not even that interested in me anymore. I'm just an ordinary person who quit the entertainment industry almost 10 years ago. Whether there would be articles or not, I couldn't even care less. Go ahead and do whatever yo want."

Later, A stated, "Since you say everything is a lie, let's go all the way until the end. In fact, please do sue me," adding, "I will even reveal the names of the members who engaged in prostitution with Dongho." Along with this, she also shared screenshots of message conversation with a contact saved as 'Dong-ble bee' making inappropriate remarks, and further claimed that Dongho had said he would make their son engage in prostitution.

Meanwhile, Dongho debuted with U-KISS in 2018. In 2013, he went on a hiatus from the entertainment industry and left the group. In 2015, he married a non-celebrity woman one year older than him. They had a son the following year, but then got divorced after about three years of marriage.

The ex-wife of U-KISS' ex-member Shin Dongho (32), has continued her series of allegations.

On the 26th, Dongho posted on his social media, "I have never cheated. Claims about visitation rights, child support, and abuse are all false," and added, "I plan to sue (A) for spreading false information and defamation."

In response, A posted a long message on Instagram the same day. She wrote, "Whoa, he says it's all false. He must have lost his mind. Fine, let's go all the way until the end. In fact, please do sue me. I will even release the names of members who engaged in prostitution with Dongho," making shocking claims.

She continued, "I never received child support. I will expose my son's face and give a proper statement to the reporters to talk about how (Dongho) hit him. I can and will reveal my bank account and my mother's bank account to prove that he didn't give me child support. I don't know what makes him so confident, but I'm already proceeding with a lawsuit and will show no mercy. I have recordings of phone calls with Dongho's mother. I will release the parts where his mother apologized to me for the abuse."

She also shared screenshots of messages showing profile picture of Dongho's face and a user named 'Dong-ble bee,' saying things like, "I just have to teach him to control bar girls with money," and "I should give him three condoms." A also claimed, "He said he would make our son engage in prostitution."

A further stated, "As for visitation, I let him see his son even though I wasn't receiving any money. My friends have long known that I let Shin Dongho see our son without getting a single penny and that he hasn't paid child support. Now I realized that a man can become so petty and evil like that, even when they've never helped financially."

She went on to criticize Dongho, "Stop pretending to be a good person. I endured everything you've done to me for 11 years and now I'm finally letting it all out. How long did you think I'd keep tolerating being treated like that? Don't be mistaken. I didn't endure it all because I liked you. I endured it because of your son, whom you are now trying to drag down along with you. You're not even a parent. You truly are a bad person. Aren't you ashamed of lying and pretending to be nice in front of everyone? Are you blind now that you make a living by exploiting bar women and selling alcohol?"

She added, "People say you have to hear both sides? It's publicly known that I raised my son alone and we got divorced because you cheated. Why are you trying to hurt the victim even more and even trying to drag your own son down with you? Are you really a father? This makes my blood boil. He can't be fixed. Don't shift the focus by spreading false information. Don't pretend otherwise and lie. I will reveal everything, including how he makes money now. I will reveal what he's been saying about people in the entertainment industry and what kind of family he comes from."

Meanwhile, Dongho left U-KISS in 2013 and married a non-celebrity woman one year older than him in 2015. The two had a son the following year, but got divorced in 2018. Since then, he has reportedly moved to Japan to live a second life as a DJ and businessman.

Former U-KISS member Dongho and his ex-wife A have revealed their ongoing conflict by attacking each other on social media.

On the 25th, Dongho's ex-wife, A, posted a long message on her social media, criticizing him in public. She claimed that Dongho spoke badly about her in front of their child and lied about what happened in the past.

A also claimed that Dongho's affair during their marriage was the main reason for their divorce. She added that he failed to pay child support and instead bought luxury gifts for another woman. Along with her post, she attached what appeared to be screenshots of social media posts to support her allegations.

A expressed her anger, stating that there had been issues during their marriage in the past as well. She also claimed that she never received child support or alimony. She also mentioned the possibility of legal action, saying, "Sue me if you want."

In response, Dongho shared his own statement on social media. He took a firm stance, saying, "Get a grip and live properly. If you want to fight until the end, let's do it."

He continued, "I'm no longer afraid of this becoming public. I'm just an ordinary person who has been out of the entertainment industry for almost 10 years," and told her, "Do whatever you want." However, he did not directly address the specific allegations made by A.

As both sides strongly disagree with each other, the public is now watching to see if this will escalate to further legal battles.

Meanwhile, Dongho left U-KISS in 2013 and announced temporary hiatus from the entertainment industry. In 2015, at the age of 21, he married a non-celebrity woman who is one year older than him. The two had a son in 2016, but then divorced three years later.

Watch 01:10 ('The way Kevin talks is really cute') and 03:25 ('Ah, but seeing Kevin... I guess it's because he's from San Fransisco... Touching him is really nice')

He's flirting with Kevin(?) but it wasn't even a funny atmosphere. It was more like a sexual harassment... And the others were trying to cover it upㅠ You can tell that everyone reacted so f*cking awkwardly to his behavior.

theqoo

-Han Seungyeon's reaction seems real... She openly commented about his behavior on camera. I guess you don't have to see to know what usually happens behind the camera.

-Why is he suddenly stroking the back of Kevin's hand...?

-Is that boy a minor??

-Wow... Look at how f*cking fixated his gaze is. He can't take his eyes off the kd. What's wrong with that bastard?

-If Seungyeon wasn't there, the atmosphere might've been even more uncomfortable.

-Sigh... This really makes me feel sick.

-He always goes for those who look naive and innocent..;

-What... He also does that to young boys...?

-The way that pedophile doesn't even care if it's a boy or girl, just as long as they're young.. So sickening, whoa.

-By the way, Han Seungyeon looks so freaking cute here.

-He was the MC of the show from January to May 2009. Kevin was born in November 1991. He was a minor in the video. He was 17 years old.

-Whoa... He really is a pedophile.

-What... What did I just see?

-...? ... He's touching him in a weird way;;; What did I just see?

I remember this video of Kim Soohyun because he really sounded like a pervert here
