On the 18th, Sports Kyunghyang reported that Min Dohee opened up about her honest feelings as she quit the part-time job she had been doing for over a year in a video titled 'I quit my cafe part-time job' posted on her Youtube channel the previous day.
In the video, Min Dohee showed her daily life working at the cafe and her routine after work, while also talking about why she started the job and the changes she experienced over the past year.
She said, "It's been over a year since I started working here. I didn't expect I would end up doing it for this long." She added, "When I first started the part-time job, I was very nervous and worried. Looking back now, I'm really glad I did it. I think starting something is always the hardest part." She added:
"I felt really small back when I had no work. I was always feeling gloomy and down. What I realized while working was that I wanted to have a job where someone actually needed me."
Min Dohee continued, "Working gave me energy. My mood became better as I felt that my usefulness was being recognized. In many ways, it had a very positive impact on me."
Regarding why she decided to quit the part-time job, she explained:
"Recently, I've started getting more schedules related to my main profession. So, I think it's time for me to wrap up the part-time job."
Min Dohee also emphasized that the part-time job helped her regain her vitality, saying, "I used to spend most of my time staying at home like a hermit. Working actually brought my energy back. It turns out that repetitive tasks suit me really well. Working, even for a short time, would lift my mood for the entire day."
Meanwhile, Min Dohee debuted as a member of the girl group Tiny-G and received love for her role as Jo Yoonjin in the tvN drama 'Reply 1994.'
