Aespa's Winter just shared the real story behind her newly adopted puppy, completely shutting down all the random online speculation that she got the dog from a pet shop.

During a voice live broadcast she held on a fan communication platform on the 23rd, Winter spent some time talking about the puppy that recently became part of her family. When fans asked where she actually got the dog, Winter clarified:

"It came from a shelter. I heard the puppy had been at an auction, but no one took it, and it was at risk of being sent to a breeding facility. The shelter rescued it from there and that's why I adopted it."

The whole issue started back on the 18th when Winter first posted a few photos of a young puppy on her personal social media account to announce the adoption. She was being a totally relatable, stressed-out first-time dog owner, asking fans questions like, "If a puppy sleeps with its eyes rolled black, should I close them?" and "How do you train a puppy to stop nipping?"

Even though it was a wholesome moment, as soon as those photos were posted on the internet, speculation about how she got a puppy that young started spreading like a wildfire across online communities and social media. People started leaving completely unverified claims, saying things like, "It looks like a purebred dog. Did she get it from a pet shop?" and "Did she pay to get the puppy?"

Fortunately, Winter didn't let the rumors linger and used her live broadcast to explain that she adopted a rescue dog from a shelter, clearing the air immediately.

Recently, public interest in pet adoption culture has risen significantly, so everyone is paying extra attention to where pets actually come from. Because issues like illegal breeding facilities and animal auctions are becoming major social issues, shelter adoption is getting a lot of support lately. This is why more celebrities are starting to openly explain their pets' background to get ahead of any potential misunderstandings

By giving the backstory of how she saved her puppy, Winter was able to share this new chapter with her fans in a completely transparent way.

TWICE is officially entering another contract renewal season and word just got out that Jeongyeon recently had a meeting with VARO Entertainment.

A representative from JYP Entertainment stated to Xports News on the 24th:

"TWICE is currently in the process of discussing contract renewals. The company and the members are continuing careful discussions while respecting each other's wishes. We will provide an update once things are finalized."

Earlier that day, reports revealed Jeongyeon had a meeting with VARO Entertainment. If that agency sounds familiar, it's because they manage some huge names, including actor Byun Wooseok and Jeongyeon's older sister, actress Gong Seungyeon.

Regarding this matter, VARO Entertainment quickly clarified things, saying:

"It's true that we had a meeting with Jeongyeon, but nothing has been finalized regarding an exclusive contract."

If we look back, TWICE debuted in 2015, and all the members successfully renewed their contracts together in July 2022. Now that they're entering another contract renewal season, public interest is growing over whether the members will re-sign and keep promoting together as a full group.

Former NCT member Mark Lee has recently come under fire and issued an apology after being spotted in a T-shirt featuring a symbol tied to far-right ideology.

The backlash prompted a response from his independent agency, Upper Room, which posted a lengthy apoloy statement on their social meddia accounts on the 23rd. The agency stated:

"We sincerely apologize for the concern, discomfort, and disappointment caused by the vintage T-shirt seen in recently shared photos."

The agency explained that once they realized the historical background and sensitivity of the symbol displayed on the shirt, they tried to make sure it wouldn't be visible in official content. They admitted, "Despite these efforts, the image was still shared and has sparked concern. The agency continued:

"Regardless of our intentions, we recognize that we should have handled this with much greater caution. Overlooking this was entirely our responsibility."

They also further added, "We understand the seriousness of the concerns that have been raised and deeply apologize for the pain caused by this incident."

Wrapping up the statement, the company noted, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt, offended, or disappointed by this matter. We promise to act with a greater sense of responsibility, awareness, and attention in the future."

To break down why everyone is so upset, the T-shirt Mark wore featured the Confederate flag. This was the official flag of the Confederate states that supported slavery during the American Civil War. Over the course of the 20th century, the flag became widely recognized as a symbol of racism and far-right movements. In fact, displaying or selling merchandise with the Confederate flag is actually restricted or banned in certain parts of the United States.

The situation is getting extra attention given that Mark is a Canadian citizen and literally just left SM Entertainment to establish his own independent label, Upper Room, making this a pretty rocky start for his solo chapter.

IOI's Choi Yoojung opened up about how profit distribution works in idol groups and shared the harsh reality of idol earnings after nearly 10 years in the industry.

Recently, Kian84 visited Choi Yoojung's home in a new video titled 'With Choi Yoojung,' which just dropped on the Youtube channel 'Life84' on the 23rd. Since Choi Yoojung is currently preparing for a solo album release, the two had plenty to talk about.

When Kian84 asked if she gives her mom allowance money, Choi Yoojung replied, "Not very often, but I do whenever I can." She added, "Once I receive my settlement payment, I'll be able to give her some soon," and then laughed about how she told her mom just yesterday, "I think this album is going to do well," to which her mom jokingly replied, "Let's stay close."

Since Choi Yoojung is now hitting her 10th year since debut, Kian84 naturally brought up the income situation. He asked, "Hasn't it been 10 years since your debut? Shouldn't your earnings be pretty good by now?"

But Choi Yoojung completely shattered the illusion and honestly replied:

"Unless you become extremely successful, it's actually not easy to make a profit."

Kian84 was totally shocked by her answer and countered, "But weren't you successful? You placed 3rd on 'Produce 101,' released a solo album, and even did musicals. 'Produce 101' wasn't just watched by idol stans, it was a national phenomenon." Choi Yoojung replied, "We didn't realize it at the time. We only understood how big it was after it ended."

If you haven't been keeping up, IOI recently reunited for the first time in 10 years, and they've been generating massive buzz after their new song 'Suddenly' sweep the #1 spot on music charts.

Then, Kian84 went for the ultimate question: "If you make 100 million KRW in profit, how much would you actually get?"

Choi Yoojung broke down the reality of the corporate structure, explaining:

"Inevitably, they cut a huge chunk out. Everyone has their own agencies, and then there are the members too. I just get whatever is left over."

Hearing how crazy the split is, Kian84 noted, "There has to be something left for you too. Otherwise, how can you stay motivated?" But Choi Yoojung made it clear that the reunion was purely about the bond, not the paycheck. She said, "If everyone only thought that way, we wouldn't be able to reunite," and revealed, "Our reunion actually fell through twice before."

TenAsia covered her recent guest appearance on SBS' 'AGJ' that aired on the 22nd, where she hung out with comedian Kim Gyuwon and shared some funny stories with MCs Lee Sangmin, Lee Suji, and Tak Jaehoon.

In this episode, Oh Yeonso caught everyone's attention when she brought up her ideal type. She mentioned, "I like someone kind and funny," which immediately led Tak Jaehoon to jokingly pitch himself as a candidate. When she later admitted that laziness is one of her personal flaws, Tak Jaehoon cracked everyone up by saying, "I can lie down for the rest of my life."

The conversation naturally shifted to her living situation. Lee Sangmin asked her, "Why are you still living with your parents?" and Tak Jaehoon chimed in, "Don't your parents tell you to get married?" In response, Oh Yeonseo confessed:

"My parents have already given up. It's not that I'm choosing not to get married. It's that I can't get married."

Hearing this, Lee Sangmin joked, "You can get married today," and Tak Jaehoon completely agreed, mapping out a lighting-fast schedule, "It's 11.30 now, so you can hold the wedding ceremony at 12 and register the marriage at 1."

When Oh Yeonso tried to explain that she needs time to get to know someone first, Lee Suji doubled down on the joke and said, "Just get to know him for 30 minutes," turning the studio into a sea of laughter.

Former U-KISS member Eli just announced he's getting remarried, and everyone has been waiting to see how his ex-wife Ji Yeonsoo would respond as his past comments where he said he 'doesn't think he can remarry' are being brought back into the spotlight.

According to a recent report by OSEN on the past 11th, Eli announced his remarriage by revealing wedding photos with his fiancée on his social media. He stated, "The past six years have been the most difficult yet transformative time of my life," and added:

"During that journey, I met a wonderful woman who brought me understanding, happiness, and peace. I have found someone to spend the rest of my life with."

The reason why his remarriage is getting so much attention is because Eli was pretty negative about it when he and Ji Yeonsoo reunited on TV Chosun's 'We Got Divorced 2.' At the time, when Ji Yeonsoo asked if he ever thought about remarrying, he said, "Of course I've thought about it," but added:

"We met, got married, had a child, and ended up here. If I had to do it all over again, I don't think I could."

Furthermore, he even told his friends later on, "We can't get back together. I don't love her as a woman."

Now, four years later after the show ended, Eli has made the choice to move on with a new partner.

On the 22nd, Ji Yeonsoo shared her thoughts on her Youtube channel, stating, "I sincerely congratulate him. I really do. Congratulations," and added, "But honestly, does my opinion even matter?"

It turns out that she actually knew about Eli's upcoming wedding beforehand. She shared, "I knew he was getting married. I just didn't know when exactly." Her main worry wasn't about the marriage itself, but how it might affect her son. She admitted:

"My biggest concern was Minsoo has to go to school tomorrow. I was worried that other parents might know who Minsoo's dad is, and that Minsoo might hear something and get hurt."

She also shared her thoughts about Eli changing his mind about staying single, saying, "It seems like he once said he wouldn't remarry. But he's still in his 30s. He's at an age where he can remarry, have children, and live his life." She added, "I've already found my happiness first. Honestly, I really enjoy living with Minsoo, just the two of us. I think he is finding his happiness a bit later than me."

Ji Yeonsoo also mentioned that their son, Minsoo, is fully aware of Eli's remarriage. She shared, "Minsoo knows too. We congratulated him. I mean, were we supposed to not congratulate him?" She continued, "Now that the decision is made, I hope he lives well and is happy."

In particular, Ji Yeonsoo emphasized that she is keeping her focus entirely on being a mom, saying:

"My number one priority is always Minsoo. Anything not related to Minsoo is not a big deal. Even if the universe exploded, Minsoo falling down would be a bigger issue for me."

To recap their history, Ji Yeonsoo and Eli married in 2014 and had their son, Minsoo, before divorcing in 2020. They later appeared together on 'We Got Divorced 2,' which sparked a lot of rumors about them getting back together, but they ultimately chose to live their separate lives while co-parenting.

According to a report by Newsen, Sandara Park dropped by KBS Cool FM's 'Paul Kim's Music Plaza' on June 23 as a guest. During the show, a listener asked her, "You said you were so nervous ahead of your new album that you couldn't eat anything. Have you been able to eat something after its release?"

"I actually don't eat much normally. When I focus on something, I lose my appetite. It feels like my throat just closes up."

She also opened up about how stressful the album preparation was, saying, "Usually I eat the things I like just fine, but this time I think I was too nervous before my first stage. I barely ate and almost collapsed."

She went on to share her eating habits, "I don't really like snacks. Chewing jelly is too tiring. I prefer liquids, so I just drink things like protein shakes," and added:

'Single's Inferno 4' star Lee Sian just won her legal battle against her former agency, Leaders Entertainment.

According to a report by OSEN on the 22nd, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 31 ruled against the agency on the 12th in a damages lawsuit they had filed against Lee Sian.

To give you the backstory, Leaders Entertainment signed an exclusive contract with Lee Sian back in August 2023. Fast forward to April 2024, right before she was set to appear on 'Single's Inferno 4,' the two parties signed a supplementary agreement. This new contract stated that if she appeared on the show, her original contract, which was supposed to end in October 2024, would be extended for an extra 18 months.

Lee Sian objected to this, and the agency claimed that starting around September 2024, she unilaterally refused to do her contractual duties and suddenly wanted to terminate the contract. Because of that, the agency filed a damages lawsuit in December of the same year.

However, the court completely ruled in Lee Sian's favor. It turns out the court found that Leaders Entertainment literally deceived her about the casting conditions of 'Single's Inferno 4.' Therefore, the supplementary agreement is considered null and void under Article 110, Paragraph 1 of the Civil Act.

The court stated, "During the casting process for 'Single's Inferno 4,' the production team never presented conditions requiring the participant to have an agency holding exclusive management rights over all entertainment activities, nor was there any requirement that the contract remain in effect until the program aired."

In other words, the agency had deceived Lee Sian into signing the supplementary agreement by lying that the production team required contestants to have an agency.

Because she was totally misled, the court recognized the agency's deceptive behavior and dismissed the penalty fines claimed by the agency against Lee Sian on grounds of contract breach. they noted:

"The supplementary agreement was lawfully canceled and there was zero evidence that Lee Sian broke any rules or contractual duties through October 2024.'

Meanwhile, Lee Sian first caught the public's eye as an idol trainee on survival shows like 'Idol School' and 'Produce 48.' She later blew up as a contestant on 'Single's Inferno 4' and is currently active as a model and influencer for various brands. Additionally, she is scheduled to become a fixed panelist on ENA's new variety show, which starts airing this August
