According to a recent report by MyDaily, ADOR explained the reason why they filed a contract termination lawsuit specifically against Danielle alone.

On the 11th, the Seoul Central District Court held the second hearing in ADOR's damages lawsuit against Danielle, her family, and former ADOR CEO Min Heejin. During the hearing, ADOR stated:

"The reason why we requested the termination of the exclusive contract only with Danielle is because she engaged in independent activities that the other members did not."

They added, "Considering the role of Danielle's mother and the circumstances suggesting her involvement in this contract termination case, we concluded that it is difficult to maintain a relationship of trust."

ADOR continued, "Looking at the conversations exchanged by Min Heejin and others on the evening of the first injunction ruling regarding the suspension of the exclusive contact, there were discussions about filming an MV for Danielle's band feature project, contracts, and an album release following ComplexCon." They claimed, "We had invested approximately 240 billion KRW under the category of artist reorganization expenses."

Regarding to these circumstances, ADOR argued, "We had no choice but to conclude that there was absolutely no intention of accepting the injunction ruling," and added:

"There were also indications that Danielle's mother made comments encouraging the collaboration. The plaintiff only learned of these matters later and determined that they could no longer continue the contract with Danielle, therefore they notified her of the termination."

ADOR further stated:

"The defendant's side claims that this lawsuit has prevented Danielle from carrying out entertainment activities, but Danielle is completely free to promote as she wishes."

ADOR also revealed the reason why they are seeking damages from Min Heejin and Danielle's mother, saying:

"The Telegram conversations show that Min Heejin actively persuaded the members' parents to break the exclusive contracts, including planning things so they would not have to bear penalty fees and promising to prepare compensation funds."

ADOR added, "Danielle's mother played the most leading role among the parents who sided with Min Heejin's unlawful actions," and continued, "It is questionable whether this entire matter was carried out solely based on the NewJeans members' own decision-making."

According to Sports Chosun, Jay Park has become a hot topic agter engaging in an online exchange with a netizen on social media.

Recently, Jay Park posted on his social media, saying:

"Everyone be checkin my ID in the US when I try to order a drink. That means they think I'm younger than 21."

The post initially began as a lighthearted interaction with fans, but the atmosphere quickly changed when a netizen left a sharp comment:

"Trust and believe you look EVERY bit of 45. Bartenders are required by law to check your ID no matter how old you look or we can lose our jobs. You are not that important, nor good looking."

Jay Park quickly responded to the unexpected criticism, saying, "Yeah, but I'm still able to take care of my parents, friends, and family. What are you doing with your life? I'll wait." He added:

"One day, you will be comfortable and proud of who you are and won't need to put down others with an internet identity. Also, I was talking about the fact that people check my ID."

Jay Park's response quickly spread online, drawing mixed ractions. While some netizens sympathized with his attitude of confronting malicious commenters, other expressed disappointment over the argument taking place between a celebrity and a netizen.

Meanwhile, after founding and leading AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, Jay Park established the entertainment company MORE VISION in 2022.

According to TV Report, Jay Park took back his earlier statement that he would join LNGSHOT, the boy group he personally created.

On the 12th, Jay Park reposted a video that contained his recent remarks about joining LNGSHOT that was uploaded by an online magazine on his social media account and wrote:

"It was obviously just a joke for the haters. I can't believe it became a news article."

Previously on the 11th, Jay Park had stated:

"Next time, I will officially join LNGSHOT. That was my goal from the very beginning and nobody can stop me. I'm the one who founded the company and created the group."

He added, "I've been doing this for 20 years. Who would know better than me? All the narratives being created online mean nothing in real life. Just enjoy the music and their journey, or just sit back and watch from the sidelines."

He also added, "The LNGSHOT members respect and appreciate me, and I respect them as well and will take care of them when needed. We discuss and decide everything directly with LNGSHOT. That's a big honor and advantage early in a career."

LNGSHOT recently promoted their second mixtape '4SHOBOIZ Vol. 2: 4SHOVILLE,' which was released last month in collaboration with their agency's CEO, Jay Park. However, some critics pointed out that even considering it was a collaboration, Jay Park's presence was too dominant, noting that he often stood at the center spot on the stage, causing LNGSHOT's members to be overshadowed.

According to a recent report by Ilgan Sports, ADOR claimed that former ADOR CEO Min Heejin (currently CEO of OOAK Records) actively orchestrated the termination of NewJeans members' exclusive contracts from behind the scenes.

During the second hearing of the damages lawsuit held by the Seoul Central District Court on the 11th, ADOR argued:

"It is undeniable that Min Heejin violated her duty of loyalty as an internal director and her duty of care as a manager. She encouraged the termination of the exclusive contracts."

ADOR's side presented social media conversation logs from October 2024 as evidence, emphasizing:

"The conversations show Min Heejin telling the NewJeans members' parents, 'I will personally design a plan so you would not suffer financial disadvantages' and 'I will prepare compensation if you left HYBE.' This prove that she actively persuaded and planned the termination of the exclusive contracts."

ADOR's side also pointed out that Danielle's family member also played a key role in the process. They raised suspicions by stating:

"They played the most leading role among the parents who sided with Min Heejin's unlawful actions."

ADOR further questioned, "In fact, it is questionable whether this entire matter was carried out solely based on the NewJeans members' own decision-making," adding:

"It appears that Min Heejin actively guided the process and Danielle's family member played the role as mediators between Min Heejin and the parents, as well as between the members themselves."

Meanwhile, ADOR is currently pursuing a damages lawsuit against Danielle, her family member, and former CEO Min Heejin on grounds of violating the exclusive contract. They have since reduced their claim from 43.1 billion KRW to 33.09 billion KRW.

According to a recent report by Ilgan Sports, ADOR and former NewJeans' member Danielle's side have once again clashed sharply over the issue of her ability to pursue entertainment activities in the second hearing held by the Seoul Central District Court on the 11th.

ADOR initially filed a damages lawsuit worth 43.1 billion KRW against Danielle, her family, and former ADOR CEO Min Heejin (currently CEO of OOAK Records) on grounds of violating the exclusive contracts. ADOR later reduced its claim against Danielle's side from 43.1 billion KRW to 33.09 billion KRW. ADOR's side emphasized:

"The defendant's side claims that this lawsuit has prevented Danielle from carrying out entertainment activities, but Danielle is completely free to promote as she wishes."

They added, "There is no reason for the plaintiff's side to block her activities. It's difficult to understand why they keep making such a claim." They also stated, "The plaintiff is requesting the payment of penalty fees and damages for breach of obligations that arose from Danielle's violations of her exclusive contract."

Danielle's side responded, "The plaintiff says Danielle is free to carry out entertainment activities, but the reality is completely different." They added:

"The total penalty amount requested by the plaintiff against Danielle is nearly 100 billion KRW. What kind of agency would sign and support an artist who is tied down by a lawsuit involving such amount of money?"

They continued, "This is effectively an attempt to completely block her from engaging in entertainment activities. To say she is free to work while pursuing such claims is extremely irresponsible."

They also added, "The plaintiff is dragging out the proceedings through evidence request and other measures while pursuing a lawsuit that is designed to harass Danielle. The longer this lawsuit drags on, the more the relationship of trust is being destroyed."

Danielle's side counters ADOR: "With penalty fee nearly 100 billion KRW, what kind of agency would sign her?"
