The incident took place in March 2016, and there was a fan signing event for Jung Jun-young in Daegu on that day. The day before, there was an incident where a woman was gang-raped in a hotel near the venue.

This woman was subjected to a group rape by Jung and Choi in the presence of other friends in the controversial chatroom.

As she digs deeper into the matter, reporter Kang came across shocking conversation contents involving the gang rape of a woman who lost consciousness after hitting her head, which was revealed to have occurred in a group setting.

One man in the chatroom confessed, "I got so scared yesterday. I heard her skull cracking when she fell." Jung Joonyoung responded, "It was the most fun night I've ever had in my entire life."

In fact, most of their fans are women. Yet, here they are treating women like toys, humiliating and despising them, making them powerless, and openly expressing contempt towards them. They shamelessly brag about these things among themselves as if it were some sort of truth, joking and laughing about it.

A and Jung had always been close. Even when drunk, A believed he would take care of her and never expected such a terrible crime. Kim, one of the group chat members, was also present at the scene of the crime. Kim was also a close friend of A. The group chat members, along with A and her friends, were at a club together before moving to a hotel to continue drinking.

They thoroughly trampled on A's trust. While Jung and Choi committed the crime against A, Kim and Heo watched. Furthermore, according to Jung's statement, Kim and Heo laughed out loud, saying, "Let me join in, let's do it together," instead of discouraging them, as if asking to be included in the game. Kim even filmed the crime scene, and a flash went off during the process.

A stated, "I was so drunk that I barely remember, but it felt like I was being dragged and followed into the hotel. The next day, I woke up naked with Choi Jonghoon lying next to me. The men were saying things like 'Look for your underwear' and 'Let's have sex,' which made me feel ashamed. So, I fled from the hotel."

A first contacted lawyer Bang Jung-hyun, who reported the incident, specifying the date and location of the incident. As a result, it was confirmed that there was one recorded audio file and six photos in the group chat from that time.

Jung and Choi were found guilty of the charges of group rape. However, Kim and Heo were found innocent because the evidence against them consisted solely of group chat conversations.

Jung Joonyoung went to a fan signing even a few hours after committing the crime.

Currently, both Choi Jonghoon and Jung Joonyoung have been released from prison.

Jung Joonyoung submitted an appeal "He deeply resents the reporter who first reported about the group chat"

"I've heard from several people that Jung Joon-young deeply resents me. I heard that he even told the police that this happened because of me."

+) Another sexual assault and illegal filming incident covered by the BBC.

Jung Joonyoung, Choi Jonghoon, and four other members of the chatroom set off for a ski trip to a resort near Seoul. Reporter Kang discovers evidence of a serious sexual assault incident during this trip while checking messages.

"It was a situation where Choi Jonghoon and Jung Joonyoung's companions invited friends of a woman acquainted with Choi Jonghoon to the ski resort. They drank together. And the women say they almost completely forgot parts of the night."

At 8 PM, one of Seungri's friends, who did not join the trip, shares a video in the group chat for Seungri.

"Clips that were illegally filmed came up. There are photos taken from the second floor looking down at the first floor, and there's a video taken from behind as a man and a woman engage in sexual intercourse, with the door open, seemingly taken as a joke."

Here, it is perceived that a friend of Jung and Choi from the chatroom is raping an unconscious woman.

In January 2016, in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, Mr. Kwon sexually assaulted another woman who was in a state of incapacity, to the extent she urinated on the floor, because the woman he initially intended to assault vomited severely on the bed. The court, considering Mr. Kwon's previous sexual offense history, issued a three-year probation order upon release, because he might do the same offense again.

-Damn it, I feel sick.

-Why even live, why?

-Why isn't there a Death Note in real life?

-I just hate men now.

-Just die, because your existence is a waste of air.

-Disgusting bastards, I hope they suffer for the rest of their lives, slowly and miserably.

-He's already been released????

-Gang raped women one day, then go to a fansigning event the next dayã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ How ridiculous women must have seemed to him...

-I feel like vomiting.

-Ah... damn, you guys are really a waste of air.

-Stupid assholes, just die.

-They've been released? Damn, what a crazy country.

-In this country, it seems like women aren't even considered human.

-I hope this will never be forgotten.

After sexually assaulting women who lost their consciousness, Jung Joonyoung said, 'This is the funniest night in my entire life'

,

Reporter: I heard you often attend church. When did you start coming out and for what reason?

Choi Jonghoon: How did you find out? Through someone? Do people from the church leak my information like that?

Reporter: Can you say a word about your future plans?

Choi Jonghoon: I also have bad traumas and shocks, so if you keep pressing me with this recording device, what do you expect me to say? What are you doing? Mom! Journalists are here and they're interviewing me? Are you trying to ask me something?

Reporter: What are your plans for the future?

Choi Jonghoon's Mom: Why are you asking that? Go away. It's ridiculous to make a fuss over nothing. You might get scolded by God.

Reporter: I just want to hear one word.

Choi Jonghoon's Mom: Okay, why are you bothering someone trying to live in faith? Everything will be fine in the end. Wait and see. God will take care of everything when the time comes.

Actually, this is not current news, but a video from after his release in 2022. He attends church.

Choi Jonghoon's recent whereabouts after being released

"The BBC released a documentary on Burning Sun that reveals conversations and videos from the group chat that we hadn't known about before.

The documentary shows how much effort the journalists put in to bring this story to light, so I recommend watching it.

What shocked me was seeing the content of the group chat involving Seungri, Jung Joon-young, Choi Jong-hoon, and their friends in such detail for the first time. It was made public through a documentary overseas. It reveals how common sexual crimes were for them.

The message in the chatroom reads, "Send me a clip of a girl that's alive."

Jung Joonyoung calling out "My friend~" in the midst of sexual assault.

As he continuously gives alcohol to the women beside him, making them drink, and sexually assaulting him, he said, "Jonghoon-ah, try kissing again like before. That kiss earlier was so f*cking sexy."

Seungri and Jung Joonyoung were actually closer than I thought

Seungri shouted at a woman on a yacht...? or something like that. He raised his hand as if he was about to hit her and forcibly dragger her out like that.

'Act humble? This Oppa is from Bigbang...'

He proudly committed all these acts while boasting that he was a member of Bigbang.

Unlike how he treated women, he treated his friends very differently, saying "Joonyoung-ah, happy birthday."

While earning millions from Tinder ads,

He committed all kinds of sexual crimes inside the club.

'Dozens of women line up and they announce, 'This person has spent 100 M KRW today''

He claimed to have made the best club in Gangnam, but this is the way he congratulated his VIP customers: by lining up women.

The customers raped and tortured women in rooms guarded by security.
Who were these customers?

'I saw girls getting drugged and lost their consciousness almost everyday at Burning Sun'

All of the victims were unconscious.

As you all know, this all came to light when CCTV footage of a man getting hit by one of the employees was leaked.

You all probably saw it, but when they dragged the women out, they grabbed them by the hair and they dragged them out like animals. The victims asked for help, but the employees just stared at them blankly.

The illegally filmed videos have been widely circulated.

'The girl was completely undressed, with a very lewd expression'

Those videos are what's known as 'Burning Sun Room Toilet' Hidden Camera Footage.
Seungri keeps being declared innocent, f*ck
You know why? Because the prosecutor general overlooks him.

Goo Hara, who reported her information about her past relationship with the police.
Goo Hara was also a hidden camera victim.
She is seen kneeling and begging the perpetrator.

One of the women involved in the group rape by Jung Joonyoung and Choi Jonghoon was a fan of Jung Joonyoung.

The woman who reported that crime got criticized as using their deceased friend for their own popularity.

Jung Joonyoung was sentenced to 6 years, Choi Jonghoon to 2 years and 6 months, and Seungri to 18 months.

Meanwhile, the police prosecutor general who covered up all these crimes was declared innocent.

Nothing has changed yet.

-I'm so angry. The punishment is too light, and the victims aren't protectedㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ

-It's sickening how Seungri is still traveling abroad and having a good time. Goo Hara had the courage to report it, but I wonder how many other female entertainers have suffered similar experience but couldn't report it... The entertainment industry itself is disgraceful.

-Where can I watch that documentary??

-Disgusting. May they all pay the price for their crimes.

-This is why it's very absurd to give birth and maintain this country. I have no problem even if this country collapses. I'm sorry to the ancestors who protected the country in the past, but Korea today has no future;;

-Let's just perish ㅇㅇ It's probably better to go extinct

-I'll never have a child in this messed up country

-We might as well replace judges in our country with AI.

-It's really scary and infuriating.... I'll never have a child...

-Just execute them all....what a waste of taxes

-This country has no future

-Damn, they should all just die

-Seems like there's no justice in this world

-Nothing changed after Burning Sun;

-It's horrifying

Summary of the BBC Burning Sun Documentary

,

Who on earth is that person referred to as a 'Police Prosecutor General' in that group chat? That was such a crucial point. It was the most unresolved issue and also a kind of homework. It was Goo Hara who stepped in and broke the ice.

I still clearly remember that day. "Reporter-nim, I'm Hara" I remember vividly her voice when she said, "I really want to help you." I was truly grateful.

Goo Hara and Choi Jonghoon were very close since their debut, and they knew each other to some extent with Seungri and Jung Joonyoung as well.

At that time, Hara mentioned that because of her acquaintance, she had seen them using their phones before and said, "There's really something strange about them, Reporter-nim. What you said is right." Then, she asked, "How can I help?" So, I honestly spoke, "There's something I want to know about that 'Police Prosecutor General' guy, but I don't know how. So, could you help with this?" I remember that at that time, Goo Hara called Choi Jonghoon and asked him about that part on my behalf.

The journalist simply asked Choi to confirm the identity of the police officer referred to as "Police Prosecutor General" in the message. Choi Jonghoon told me that the figure known as the "Police Prosecutor General" was not fictional but an actual police officer named Yoon Gyu-geun. (Goo Hara) helped me to get Choi Jonghoon talk out about it.

Goo Hara was an incredibly brave woman. What she said to me was... "I'm also a revenge porn victim"

Within 48 hours, Reporter Kang releseas two of the most important articles, gracing the news headlines.

-Such a brave woman... I wonder how difficult it must've been for herã… ã…  Rest in peace, Hara-ya

-Wow... I need to watch that documentary.

-I miss Hara.

-She was such an amazing person.

-Hara, you lived such a wonderful and beautiful life.

-Hara, be happy.

-Wow..ㅠㅠㅜㅜㅜ She must have been really brave.

-It must have been tough for herã… ã…  Hara, you're really brave and cool.

-She was so... so brave.  It must have been difficult just for herself, but persuading her friend to come forward is really tough... Damn, it's heartbreaking. I think she must have gone through a lot alone and got tiredã… ã… ã… ã… ã…  I really hope she's happy now.

-In my opinion, I don't think Goo Hara's death was suicide.

-My heart hurts to read this... How did she handle it all?

-This is so saddening and upsetting to me... She was a lightã… ã…

-Haraㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ I hope you're happy in heaven.

-She seemed like a delicate and beautiful flower, but she was actually as fiery as flames.

Goo Hara played a very important role in uncovering the connections involved in the Burning Sun scandal
