NCT's Doyoung donated 100 million KRW to the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention to support military personnel protecting the country and families who lost loved ones to intentional self-harm.

On the 29th, the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention announced, "Doyoung made a donation of 100 million KRW to the foundation to support intervention efforts related to intentional self-harm among South Korean military personnel, as well as children and teenagers of the bereaved families."

Doyoung shared, "One thing I often tell my fans is, 'Tomorrow will definitely be happier than today.' I believe tomorrow always moves one step closer to a warmer and happier direction than today," adding, "I hope this donation can become a source of strength that allows everyone to take courage."

Jung Yoonsoon, the chairperson of the Korea Foundation for Suicide Prevention, said, "Protecting the mental health of military personnel and helping children and adolescents from the bereaved families to  recover from grief are important tasks for building a stronger social safety net," adding, "Doyoung's heartfelt sharing will become a meaningful lifeline for people standing at the edge of despair."

Singer Choi Yena opened up about her deep affection and gratitude toward her parents.

On the episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' that will air at 9 PM (KST) on the 30th, Christina, Choi Yena, and AND2BLE's members Zhang Hao and Han Yujin, who are all beloved for their bright energy, will appear as guests.

In this episode, Choi Yena draws attention by sharing stories that highlighted her loyalty and filial devotion. She revealed, "Before my contract ended, I received offers from several agencies, but in the end, I decided to renew with my current company."

She continues with a heartwarming story, "I was physically weak when I was younger, so my parents struggled a lot because of me," adding, "I wanted to repay them, so I bought them a house, and we also go on overseas trips together every year."

Meanwhile, Zhang Hao surprises everyone by talking about his unusual food preferences. He said, "I'm not picky when it comes to food. I can eat from durian to pig brain," joking, "After eating durian, you need to brush your teeth three times to get rid of the smell." He also surprised the cast member by mentioning that he once personally gifted durian to fans.

Han Yujin opens up about how he first became aware of his exceptional looks, saying, "When I was younger, I had no intention of becoming a celebrity," adding, "Back when I was in the soccer club, my friends' parents used to say, 'He shouldn't be playing soccer here.'" In response, Zhang Hao joked, "I admit Han Yujin is number one in visuals, but I'm right next in the line," making everyone laugh.

Christina also shares updates about her recent popularity, saying, "Lately, the way I naturally talk has been getting a lot of love," and added, "If I keep tweaking it a little, I think it might stay popular until next year." She even came up with a brand-new catchphrase during filming, showing off her unique charm.

Actress Kang Mina, formerly a member of the project group IOI, directly denied recent speculation about conflict with the members.

Through a fan communication platform, Kang Mina recently shared, "Even now, the members and I contact each other almost every day, saying we miss each other and congratulate one another" adding, "I honestly don't know why people live so exhaustingly by spreading rumors that I have conflict with the members." She continued, "Rather than doing that, just spend your time to congratulate the members for winning first place," dismissing the rumors of conflict.

Recently, as IOI celebrated the 10th debut anniversary by releasing a new album, 'IOI : Loop,' some netizens speculated that there might be a conflict among the members because Kang Mina and Zhou Jieqiong did not participate in the project.

However, Kang Mina had already explained that she could not participate the reunion due to scheduling conflicts. In an interview last month, she said, "I was aware that the project had been in preparations since the second half of last year, but it overlapped with my drama filming and promotions schedules, making it difficult for me to join," adding, "I thought the best thing I could do was honestly explain the situation to the members."

Furthermore, at an official event, Kang Mina also stated, "I decided to focus on my acting projects that had been scheduled first," and added, "I feel incredibly sorry toward the fans, but I hope to show an even better side of myself through acting."

Following her activities with IOI, Kang Mina transitioned into acting and has since appeared in dramas like 'Hotel del Luna,' 'Café Minamdang,' and 'Welcome to Samdal-ri.' Most recently, she starred in the Netflix series 'If Wishes Could Kill' as Nari.

After DAY6's Dowoon personally addressed the dating and marriage rumors connecting him to YouTuber Yoo Jiyoo, fan outrage has escalated. Some fans sent protest trucks to JYP Entertainment's headquarters, demanding Dowoon's withdrawal from the band.

On the 28th, protest trucks demanding Dowoon's withdrawal were sent to JYP Entertainment's headquarters. The LED screens displayed messaged like, 'Yoon Dowoon, leave (the band),' 'No official statement,' and 'Do you support Dowoon's withdrawal?' Rather than the dating rumors itself, dans clarified that their anger was caused by how the situation is being handled.

Recently, dating rumors between Dowoon and Yoo Jiyoo spread across online communities. Netizens online pointed out the shared matching items and accessories, similar pet photos, and even mutual acquaintances. The rumors quickly escalated to marriage rumors after account surfaced claiming that the two was spotted going for a wedding consultation. Yoo Jiyoo is known to be the younger sister of Youtuber Yoo Hyejoo.

Regarding this matter, JYP Entertainment stated, "We have no official statement," leading many fans to view this as an acknowledgment of their relationship.

As the controversy escalated, Dowoon left a message on his personal social media account, stating, "Our team will never disappear no matter what. I'm not going anywhere, so please just ignore the negative posts. I'm sorry for causing you pain. Please just wait a little bit longer."

Despite so, fans expressed their disappointment over his ambiguous message. Many felt his choice of words failed to serve as a proper apology or explanation. In particular, some criticized and pointed out the dialect and spelling errors made the message seem overly casual.

Meanwhile, DAY6 is currently promoting with four members including Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. They are scheduled to hold their 10th debut anniversary tour, 'THE DECADE: Finale in Seoul,' this July at the KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park. They also have an upcoming performance in Kobe, Japan next month.

"It felt like my legs were being stabbed with knives" f(x)'s Luna opens up about her struggle with panic disorder

Luna made a broadcast appearance with her mother for the first time in a while and honestly opened up about the difficult time she went through because of panic disorder.

On the episode of MBC's 'Please Take Care of Mom' that aired on the 24th, Luna and her mother carefully shared personal stories they had never discussed publicly before.

On this day, Luna's mother prepared a seaweed soup seasoned with homemade soy sauce along with acorn jelly for her youngest daughter. After eating the food her mother had personally cooked, Luna swayed her body out of joy and said, "My stomach hasn't been well lately, I really craved for my mom's seaweed soup," and added, "When I was at my lowest point, my mom's seaweed soup helped me get through it." Her mother responded warmly, "We endured (the hard times) so well."

Luna confessed, "During promotions in my mid 20s, I started wondering, 'Is this panic disorder? Or is it depression?' Eventually, the panic disorder manifested as physical symptoms. I would feel pain on my legs, as if it were being constantly stabbed with knives."

Her mother recalled, "At the time, the only thing I had on my mind was to stay beside my daughter. But she didn't want that. She would tell me, 'Mom, can you please leave me alone for a while?' Even so, I didn't give up. I cried and begged her. But she doesn't seem to remember any of it now."

Luna eventually broke down crying and said, "I was suffering too, but I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for my parents." She continued, "Even during my trainee days, my parents never once showed they were struggling. I used to think, 'My mom never sleeps.' But it turned out that she developed bronchitis from working so hard, her hands would also swell really bad."

Luna explained, "The period when my mental health began collapsing coincided with the period when people I loved started passing away one after another. Around the same time, the project I took on required me to play a character who took her own life. After that, I was diagnosed with depression and panic disorder. I have since completed treatment and am now living healthily."

"Such a great body" ... MONSTA X’s Hyungwon says he feels confident on Shownu's behalf: “I’d want to take my shirt off at the beach.”

MONSTA X's sub-unit Shownu X Hyungwon shwed off their close friendship despite their very different personalities.

On the 28th, the YouTube channel @commonthursday_official posted a video titled, "Mom, pick one of these future son-in-law candidates. Hurry up, we need to set the date for the family meeting soon." In the video, Shownu and Hyungwon, who recently made their comeback with second mini album 'LOVE,' appeared as guests and enjoyed an outdoor lamb skewer mukbang with Jo Hyunah.

On this day, Jo Hyunah expressed her surprise at the two's unexpected charm, saying, "I expected MONSTA X to be really energetic, but you two are much calmer and more laid-back than I thought," noting the difference from their powerful image on stage.

Shownu and Hyungwon explained that their personalities are total opposites even within the team. Hyungwon shared, "People whose personalities are too similar usually don't get close easily. I'm more sensitive, while Shownu Hyung is very relaxed," explaining why they get along so well. He added, "Since we already spend so much time together as a group, we don't usually meet up separately, but I actually spend most of my personal time with Shownu Hyung," showing his special affection for Shownu as both a close friend and drinking buddy.

In particular, when asked, "What would you do if you could swap bodies for 24 hours?" both answered enthusiastically. Hyungwon said, "If I had Shownu Hyung's body, I'd go for a run along beaches overseas with my shirt off," expressing his envy.

Meanwhile, Shownu responded casually, "Sometimes when I go to a sauna, older men around my father's age would look at me and say, 'You have such an amazing body,'" and added, "I think I could live as Hyungwon for about three days."

On the other hand, Shownu also shared his concern, saying, "Besides the members, I don't really have many close friends. When things become awkward during a conversation, I tend to look for the problem within myself." In response, Jo Hyunah sympathetically said, "That breaks my heart. You're such a nice person that you always think it's your fault," before joking, "I always tell my friends who are like that to blame other people sometimes. Life gets easier that way," drawing laughter.

Shownu and Hyungwon also shared funny stories about MONSTA X. While discussing fines for being late, Hyungwon joked, "I snapped out of that habit after completing my military service," making everyone laugh. He also revealed plans for the members' first self-funded overseas trip during their upcoming schedule in France. Excluding the members with individual schedules, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, and Hyungwon plan to travel together. Hyungwon shared excitedly, "We have a few free days in our schedule, so we plan to visit a nearby resort. Everyone agreed right away, so this will be our first overseas trip together in France. We're planning to really enjoy ourselves."

Following their unit promotions, Shownu and Hyungwon are also preparing for MONSTA X’s world tour. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to fans, saying, "Thanks to Monbebe, we were able to release another album for the first time in three years and go on tour again. We'll work hard while remembering that gratitude and do our best until the end."
