According to a recent report by Sports Seoul, Jung Eunwoo, a former member of the girl group PRISTIN, recently shared an update on her current life working as a manager at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam and opened up about her feelings after leaving the entertainment industry.

On the 14th, an interview video featuring Jung Eunwoo was released through the Youtube channel '1ma2c Magazine.'

In the video, Jung Eunwoo spoke about her life after leaving the entertainment industry, saying:

"Not long after the group disbanded, I started working at a certain hospital. It was also located in Gangnam and a lot of recognizable celebrities came there."

She continued, "Some people recognized me. Some would even ask, 'Why are you working here?' Since I was young back then, I felt a little bit embarrassed."

She added, "They were just asking out of curiosity, like, 'You used to be a celebrity, so why are you working here?' But looking back, I think I was dealing with my own inferiority complex about it."

Looking back to her idol days, Jung Eunwoo admitted:

"I still had lingering feelings about the entertainment industry. I'm past the age where I could become an idol again. For me, the most enjoyable time to sing now is just in the bathroom while showering."

Meanwhile, Jung Eunwoo participated in 'Produce 101' in 2016 as a trainee under Pledis Entertainment. She finished in 21st place and did not make the final lineup of IOI. She later debuted in PRISTIN alongside Lim Nayoung and Zhou Jieqiong, but the group disbanded in 2019. In November of the same year, she re-debuted in HINAPIA with former PRISTIN members Minkyung, Yebin, and Kyungwon, but the group wrapped up its activities after about nine months.

Bae Yoonjung: What have you been doing all this time you're not promoting?
Lee Gaeun: Uh... I've been waiting for a comeback. I've waited and waited, but it never happened. Honestly, I took a quite long rest and spent my days happily. I thought I was fine. But at one point, I realised that I'm not fine at all.When the first season of Produce 101 was held, some of the girls who trained along with me participated in the show. I thought to myself, 'If only I hadn't debuted I probably could participate in the first season of the show. Ah... I clearly have debuted in a group, but why do I have nothing to do and just sitting at home watching this show instead?'

After Kahee graduated from the group, Lee Gaeun joined the group in 2012. 
She participated in promoting two songs, Flashback on June 2012 and First Love on June 2013. Since then, she was forced to go through a hiatus. 

This also applied to other members, not only Lee Gaeun

March 2010, After School became a big hit with Bang 

The next full-group comeback was with Shampoo, on April 2011
Lee Young joined After School in this era

July 2011, After School created two different sub-units, Red and Blue

They finally got another full-group comeback with Flashback on June 2012

And another full-group comeback with First Love on June 2013

And then, they went on a indefinite hiatus after that

Lee Gaeun joined the group in 2012, promoted 2 songs, and then participated in Produce 48 in 2018
There's no picture but Bae Yoonjung also asked her whether if After School had disbanded, which she responded 'We haven't disbanded. But since the company told me I could participate in this show, it makes me think that we have [disbanded]'

You can clearly see that the girls did their own make up and went on stage with casual clothings



I may be jumping to the conclusion way too fast here,
but you can also see that their expressions weren't really good

When Yoo Soyoung said she was withdrawing from the group, she was sent without any hairstyle and make up on her last stage
She couldn't even raise her head

And Pristin also experienced the same thing

They officially debuted with Wee Woo on March 2017

They had a comeback on August 2017 with We Like

Out of 10 members, they created a sub-unit called Pristin V, which consisted of Jieqiong, Nayoung, Rena, Eunwoo, and Roa

That's all

After We Like promotions, they went on a 610 days long hiatus and then announced that they were disbanding
