Actress Moon Chaewon is officially tying the knot today (the 28th), starting a new chapter in her life!

She is marrying her non-celebrity fiancé at a private venue somewhere in Seoul. Because her partner is not a public figure, they're keeping things super lowkey out of consideration for him and both of their families. So, the wedding will be completely private with just family and close relatives attending.

If you remember, Moon Chaewon actually broke the news herself back in April. At the time, she announced, "I'm a little nervous about starting and building a family, but even more than that, I'm excited." She also reassured everyone, "Going forward, I also plan to show more diverse sides of myself through my work."

The second she announced the wedding without any prior dating rumors, the internet did what it does best. People online started claiming she was marrying a dermatologist who is younger than her, and there were even shotgun wedding rumors flying around. But thankfully, all of that turned out to be completely fake.

Moon Chaewon actually took matters into her own hands and addressed the gossip directly on her Youtube channel, saying, "My fiancé is not a dermatologist who is younger than me." Her agency also stepped in to firmly deny the pregnancy rumors, calling them 'completely unfounded.'

Ahead of her big day, she also dropped her wedding pictorials. Wearing a white wedding dress, Moon Chaewoon looked incredibly graceful and elegant while showing off how excited she is for the wedding. Following the surprise marriage news that came without any prior dating rumors, the wedding photo has brought a massive outpouring of congratulations from fans all over the world.

It's crazy to think about how far she's come since she made her acting debut in 2007 through the SBS' 'Mackerel Run.' Since then, she's become a total staple on Korean TV, receiving love for her roles in hit dramas like 'Painter of the Wind,' 'Brilliant Legacy,' 'The Princess' Man,' 'The Innocent Man,' 'Good Doctor,' 'Flower of Evil,' 'Payback: Money and Power,' and more. She has also starred in major movies like 'War of the Arrows' and 'Love Forecast.' Just this year, she reunited with audiences through 'Heartman.'

Actress Moon Chaewon (40) is getting married.

On the 15th, MyDaily reported that Moon Chaewon will be getting married to a non-celebrity man this June. It is said that the two have decided to get married after a fairly long period of dating.

Previously, Moon Chaewon had described her ideal type in various interviews, saying, "I don't like people who lie. I also prefer someone who doesn't use social media. Also, I feel more comfortable with someone introverted rather than extroverted." In last May, when asked if she had a boyfriend on SNL Korea 7, she replied, "Even if I did, wouldn't I not be able to say so?" essentially admitting that she was in a relationship.

Moon Chaewon debuted in 2007 through the SBS sitcom 'Mackerel Run' and has since appeared in dramas such as 'Painter of the Wind,' 'Brilliant Legacy,' 'The Princess' Man,' 'The Innocent Man,' 'Good Doctor,' 'Flower of Evil,' 'Payback: Money and Power,' and movies 'War of the Arrows,' 'Love Forecast,' 'Fengshui,' and more. Her most recent work is the movie 'Heartman,' which was released early this year.

Kwon Sangwoo and Moon Chaewon made a guest appearance on the episode of SBS' 'Whenever Possible' aired on the 13th.

During the broadcast, Kwon Sangwoo mentioned that he and Moon Chaewon had already seen the screening of their movie 'Heartman' in advance. He said, "We were both very satisfied. In my heart, I already consider it a successful movie."

He continued, "I think it was great. We're confident. However, since you never know what the audience will choose, we're going to promote it as much as possible," explaining why they appeared on the show as guests.

Kwon Sangwoo, who turned 50 this year, shared, "When the my age started to begin with a '4,' I felt a sense of emptiness. But now that I'm 50, I feel more open-minded and less obsessed with things," speaking about his current sense of ease.

However, he admitted that he still wants to be obsessed with the movie's box office performance and genuinely hopes it does well. In response, Yoo Yeonseok jokingly added, "I want to be obsessed with winning the games today," drawing laughter.

That day, the meal bet was decided by AI. Despite various narratives, the AI chose Kwon Sangwoo. Yoo Jaesuk thanked him, saying, "Sangwoo-ya, thanks for the meal," to which Kwon Sangwoo replied, "I'm a guy who has bought Yoo Jaesuk a meal," grabbing attention.

After finishing their meal, the four visited a gelato cafe, where Kwon Sangwoo paid again. Yoo Yeonseok joked, "As expected, our New Jersey hyung is on a different level."

Moon Chaewon spoke about working with Kwon Sangwoo, saying, "Kwon Sangwoo was the first celebrity I ever liked," which moved Kwon Sangwoo, who then replied, "I’m grateful just hearing that."

Yoo Jaesuk mentioned that he heard that a phrase Kwon Sangwoo says a lot lately is "Is it not?" noting how he constantly reads the room. He then asked what phrase Kwon Sangwoo's wife, Son Taeyoung, says a lot lately. Kwon Sangwoo replied, "Anyway..." explaining that while he constantly reads the room, his wife is the one who always wraps things up, causing laughter.

Hearing this, Yoo Yeonseok asked what phrase Yoo Jaesuk often says lately. He replied, "Rather than what I say, (my wife) Kyungeun says this to me a lot: 'Did you hear what I said?'" drawing sympathy from fellow married man, Kwon Sangwoo.

Yoo Jaesuk continued, "When she asks me 'Did you hear me?', I ask her back, 'But Kyungeun-ah, do I even have a choice here?' Then her reply is always, 'Do whatever you want.'" Kwon Sangwoo replied, "That actually means you have to get her permission," which made everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, at the end of the broadcast, NMIXX’s Haewon and Sullyoon appeared in the preview as upcoming guests, and raising expectations for the next episode.

Kang Dongwon as Doha, Moon Chaewon as Rita (Younghwa), Yeo Jin-goo as Joon-oh...?

This collaboration worksㅋㅋㅋ

I'm just saying this drama will be one of a kind if they were the casts
Hello, production team... Are you reading this...?ㅜㅜ
I really want to see Kang Dongwon do that iconic line

[+222][-49]

1. [+165][-0] If only Kang Dongwon was 20 years younger... Or at least 10 yearsㅠㅠ And also Joon-Oh kinda has cold vibes in him, while Yeo Jin-goo has the type of 'honest guy from the countryside' looks. I'm not hating, I'm just saying that he looks reliable.

2. [+115][-0] I don't think so... They all have aged now. Those gifs were made out of videos from 10 years ago...ㅠㅠ

3. [+92][-2] Their actual ages don't suit the role... Doha is barely in his late 20s and Rita is in her 10s.

4. [+78][-18] Whoa... I think Moon Chaewon suits that role so freaking well

5. [+28][-0] Kang Dongwon was living one of his most glorious days when he filmed Kundo ... I think it would've been legendary if he filmed this drama with that looks of hisㅠㅠ But I think he was already in his late 30s when he filmed Kundoㅋㅋㅋ

Have you seen the casts of The Moon That Rises in The Day?? It's legendary
