Actor Kim Kyunha, who completely stole the show as Kim Soogyeom in the Netflix series 'Teach You a Lesson,' has officially tied the knot.
According to recent reports, Kim Kyunha married his non-celebrity girlfriend, who is one year older than him, in a small, intimate wedding ceremony back on May 23.
It turns out that the couple actually started dating around 2022, when the Netflix series 'Juvenile Justice' came out. After about four years of dating, they finally made it official. Right after the wedding, they headed straight to Europe for their honeymoon, and they were still there when 'Teach You a Lesson' officially premiered on Netflix. He shared:
"My wife and I watched the first episode of "Teach You a Lesson' together in Rome, Italy. She gives me stability and is my greatest source of motivation. I'm incredibly happy."
For those who didn't know, Kim Kyunha actually started acting way back in 1999 as a child actor. After graduating from the National Traditional Arts High School, he's been steadily building up his acting career by starring in numerous drama, including 'Angel Eyes,' 'Let's Eat 2,' 'Oh My Ghost,' 'The Empire,' 'Dr. Romantic 3,' and 'The Scarecrow.'
As of June 24, 'Teach You a Lesson' has already racked up a massive 126.2 million hours viewed and 11.8 million views, ranking #1 on Netflix's Global TOP 10 Non-English TV Shows. After debuting straight at #1 in its very week, the series has managed to maintained that top spot for three consecutive weeks, continuing its crazy global run.
Along with celebrating the massive global success of the show, Kim Kyunha is also celebrating a brand new chapter in his personal life with his marriage. He's reportedly planning to keep busy with a bunch of future projects, so we'll definitely be seeing more of him soon.
