Amid news that Sooyoung and Jung Kyungho have ended their relationship after 14 years, Jung Kyungho's affectionate remarks about Sooyoung just a month ago are being revisited.

Previously on the 9th, both Sooyoung and Jung Kyungho's agency, Saram Entertainment and Management Allum, officially confirmed, "The two have broken up." According to Sports Kyunghyang, both sides stated that the couple gradually dritfted apart due to busy schedules and recently decided to end their relationship.

Following the breakup news, Jung Kyungho's remarks during his appearance on Shin Dongyup's Youtube channel back in May are gaining attention. At the time, Jung Kyungho was talking about how his father, PD Jung Eulyoung, had opposed his acting career in the past when he expressed his gratitude toward Sooyoung.

When Shin Dongyup commented, "I can understand why your father opposed you. You were messing around, saying you wanted to start acting," Jung Kyungho responded, "I really did mess around for far too long. I feel sorry about that," and added:

"Choi Sooyoung keeps me grounded. I honestly think that if it hadn't been for her, I could've become a very disappointing and bad actor. She is someone I'm truly grateful for."

Despite being tipsy from a few drinks at the time, Jung Kyungho openly expressed his trust in Sooyoung, describing her as someone who firmly supported and anchored the unstable parts of himself.

Meanwhile, the two began dating in 2012 and publicly confirmed their relationship in 2014. At the time, Sooyoung was 22 years old and Jung Kyungho was 29 years old. Over the next 14 years, they continued their public relationship and became one of the representative long-term couples in the Korean entertainment industry.

Since they had been together from Sooyoung's early 20s to her mid-30s, fans had long speculated that they were going to get married. However, they announced their breakup yesterday, leading to bittersweet reactions online alongside various speculations regarding the reasons behind their split.

According to a report by News1, a video of shaman Myeong Doryeong that was posted in December of last year has recently resurfaced following the breakup news of Jung Kyungho and Choi Sooyung. In the video, Myung Doryeong conducted a blind fortune reading using only the couple's birth dates. 

In the video, Myeong Doryeong described the male partner, "He is someone stubborn with very clear standards. He cares deeply about how others perceive him and has tendencies to be perfectionist." Regarding the female partner, he continued, "She is also highly stubborn, but free-spirited. She tends to live according to her own will rather than conforming to others' expectations."

Regarding their compatibility, the shaman stated:

"They have decent compatibility, but I do not see the energy of a married couple between them. They may be able to date for a long time, but it seems difficult for them to make it all the way to marriage. It seems like she wants to get married, but he appears to be avoiding marriage."

Three weeks after that video was released, Park Narae announced her hiatus from the entertainment industry following several allegations, including mistreatment of her manager and receiving illegal medical procedures. 

Meanwhile, Jung Kyungho and Choi Sooyoung began dating in 2013 and publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2014. However, they recently brought an end to their 14-year relationship.

"Jung Kyungho has been busy with acting projects and Choi Sooyoung is also busy balancing activities in both Korea and Japan. As their schedules became more demanding, they reportedly spent less time together and eventually ended their relationship."
