According to a recent report by Maeil Business Newspaper, Kwon Eunbin, an actress and also a member of CLC who recently announced her retirement from the entertainment industry, shared her thoughts ahead of her final performance.

Recently, CLC released a video ahead of their 11th debut anniversary concert, which will be held at Zepp New Taipei in Taiwan on July 19th.

In the video, the members expressed their excitement for the upcoming concert, saying, "We are so happy and excited to be able to greet everyone as CLC again after such a long time. We hope you enjoy it with us and leave feeling energized."

In particular, Kwon Eunbin greeted fans by saying:

"We are busy preparing to meet you all. It's been such a long time since I've seen the fans, so I'm both excited and nervous. I really want to see you soon. Let's meet soon."

 

Previously on the 16th, Kwon Eunbin announced on her social media that she would be retiring from the entertainment industry following CLC's 11th debut anniversary concert.

She wrote, "Looking back on the time that has passed, I realized that most of it was spent struggling with feelings of emptiness and anxiety about the present and the future, rather than with affection and love for my work." She continued:

"I have now decided to leave all of those negative times and emotions behind and spend my time pursuing a better and happier future."

Meanwhile, Kwon Eunbin debuted in 2016 as a member of CLC and later expanded her career into acting as well.

 1. When they were about to renew their contract, the members expressed that they still want to continue promoting as a group. However, the company proposed individual activities. The members discussed and they all thought they did not have any reason to stay in that company if it weren't for CLC. 

That's why Choi Yujin who wanted to be an idol more than the others, participated in Girls Planet 999. 

Sorn herself didn't renew her contract, but she waited until GP999 ended before announcing it so that it wouldn't harm Choi Yujin. 

2. Frequent changes in the concept

 The members opposed the songs and also the changes of concept, but the company didn't take their opinions into their consideration. Resulting in the girls to be having to continue promoting with songs that don't suit them. Hobgoblin, Black Dress, and ME, which got positive reactions when it was released, were all the concepts that the girls made themselves. When CUBE told them that Helicopter would be their last promotion together, they made the song and the concept so that it could reflect their opinions. 

Sorn even made a Powerpoint Presentation and present it in front of the staff and got an agreement from the company for Hobglobin's promotion. 

3. Even though the group has disbanded, they are still like sisters. They hope there would be a day where they could gather once again. 


I feel like they have a lot to say for their company. Honestly, we all noticed that they have been changing their concept way too often.

-CUBE has a really bad strategy and marketing then. Judging by how Soyeon plans everything for G-IDLE and all of CLC's popular songs and concepts were made by themselves.

-G-IDLE is doing well because all of their songs and concepts were made by the members. CUBE is so incompetent.

-Just CUBE being CUBE... I've always thought these girls would hit big...

-Why is CUBE being like this?? This is exactly what they do to Lightssum, they barely give any effort to plan their strategy and marketing for the group. Do they want to make easy money???

-CUBE... I think it'll be better if they start listening to their idols' opinions...

-If they're so incompetent, they should just let the idols plan for everything. Oh Gosh, CUBE. I have never seen any company as incompetent as you.

-I feel really sorry for CLC. They have such a perfect members line-up, though.

-What does CUBE do then? The strategy and marketing planning, even the producing are all done by the idols;;

Eunbin: There's an idol that I'm really into these days. It's Baek Jiheon, the one with pig tails from Fromis 9. She's so cute that I always watch her videos everyday.. Yesterday, Yoojin sent me a link of video of Fromis 9 covering Hobglobin. It happened that Baek Jiheon was the one who danced to my part, I feel really happy to see that. I'm going to start a conversation with her later.

Seungyeon: She keeps on watching her videos while talking about how cute Baek Jiheon is.. I think she's going to join her fandom at this rate.

Eunbin: I have already joined her fandom by now..

Seungyeon: Stop looking at her, she might feel pressured if you do because we're currently wearing gold-themed outfits which look intimidating..

With innocent concept, she looked like a typical female idol which barely you can remember.

She looked pretty as well back then, but you couldn't really see her charms.
I think I can say it honestly now that she wasn't really interesting back then.

And now that CLC is doing a sexy concept,
she looks the most outstanding out of the other members ㅇ0ㅇ!!!

She suits this concept really well!
What she needed was a styling and concept that totally suits her.

I heard that the manager kept on following her and convince her to cut her hair short,
the manager must have some good eyes..

Now that she has short hair + doing a sexy concept,
you can see her aura and charms. She looks outstanding.
