According to a recent report by OSEN, GOT7's Youngjae has publicly called out the production company behind the musical 'Dream High Season 2' over unpaid appearance fees.
On the 9th, Youngjae posted on his personal social media account, writing, "I believed you said everything would be resolved by June 9, but it hasn't been resolved even by today."
He tagged the official accounts of the 'Dream High 2' production company and its CEO:
"As someone who is owed money, every time I contact you, you would say, 'Didn't we say when we'd pay you? Please wait a litte longer.' Once August comes, it will have been almost a year since this went unresolved. This is really becoming a problem."
He continued, "How do you think it feels for someone who still hasn't properly received their appearance fee to see posts like this? Please don't say that the payments are currently being made just because you've been sending small portions of the amount owed. Yes, you did pay something. But from where I stand, it's such a small amount that can hardly be considered a proper settlement."
He expressed his frustration, saying:
"Am I unfairly asking for money? Do the time I spent practicing, my effort, and that entire process mean nothing? I wanted to resolve this in good terms. I believe it wasn't our side that made this whole situation uncomfortable. Ah, you're telling me you'll settle it within this month? I lose count of how many times I've already heard those exact words."
Previously, Youngjae was cast as Song Samdong in the show musical 'Dream High Season 2' in April of last year. However, the issue of unpaid appearance fees came to light, leading Youngjae's side to file a lawsuit against the production company in January.
Meanwhile, it is reported that 'Dream High Season 3' is being produced and is scheduled to open in July.
