Since the 'shoe insole pad controversy' in 2016, government support at both the national and local levels increased. However, many young women are still unable to receive sanitary pad support due to difficulties in the application process, failure to meet the requirements, and other reasons.

GFoundation continuously provides six months' worth of sanitary pads, hygiene underwear, heating packs, basic cosmetics, feminine hygiene products, and other sanitary items needed during menstruation for young women who lack sanitary pads.

Lawyer Seok defended President Yoon's declaration of martial law, saying, "The president has been suffering from the opposition party's obstruction of national affairs. Among the four East Asian countries – South Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan – South Korea has the highest obesity rate among children and adolescents.

A joint research team led by Professor Hong Yong-hee from the Pediatrics Department at Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital analyzed data from the "NCD Risk Factors Collaboration" to compare obesity rates in children and adolescents aged 5 to 19 in East Asia from 2010 to 2022.

The study found that South Korean teenagers had the highest rates of obesity and overweight rates among the four countries in 2022. About 43% of boys and 24.6% of girls were overweight or obese.
