In 2021, JYP selected 5 members for the final debut lineup through a survival show, LOUD. One of them has left, so there are currently 4 remaining members in JYP.

(Fans recently spotted that these 4 members are consistently together. So it's almost certain that they are confirmed to debut)

Lee Gyehun

He had been training at JYP Ent. for a long time, even before LOUD.

He played the role of the ace and also the center member during LOUD.

It is expected that the team will be organized primarily around this member.

Amaru

He received praise for his outstanding vocal skills which are not typical for a Japanese contestant during the survival show.

He is expected to be at least the lead vocal, or maybe even the main vocal of the group.

Keiju

Despite being in 9th grade during LOUD, he gained popularity for his impressive dancing skills and cute visuals.

His debut has been delayed repeatedly and he is soon going to become an adultㅠ However, it is expected that he will be one of the popular members.

Lee Donghyun

He was the participant in LOUD that Park Jinyoung really liked and was eager to bring to JYP Ent.

+Additionally, there are about three other members who have recently been spotted together, but they are presumed to be hidden trainees whose faces have not yet been revealed.

theqoo

-Finally..

-Sounds good, you can kind of feel the group’s vibe just from the nameㅋㅋ

-That's actually a good name.

-Wait... Didn't they already debut?

-Will they debut this year?

-Are the trainees from LOUD finally debuting?

-Is Gyehoon finally going to debut?

-Which division will they be in?

-It’s been a while since I’ve heard a group name I actually like right away.

-It kinda sounds like a brand name.

-It has a bit of a Gen Z vibe. I heard it’s named after a skateboard trick.

-The name’s pretty good. I'm looking forward to their debut.

-Are they going to debut next year?

-The name's so trendyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Now I'm curious about their fandom name. What will it be?

-Whoa... They're finally debuting.

-Keijuㅜㅜ Finally

-The logo is cute.

-That's a great name. I wonder what their fandom name will be...? JYP is pretty good at naming fanclubsㅋㅋㅋ

JYP seems to have finalized the name of their new rookie boy group

Getting rid of the cheek fat to make their cheekbones protrude

This is one of the beauty standards that is pursued by Hollywood celebrities, which is said to make the cheeks appear hollow.

They pay people to make them look like skeletons.

No... No... Not this...

theqoo

-Yeah, they have different beauty standards.

-Everyone will eventually look like that as they age. Why do they have to get plastic surgery just for that?ㅋㅋㅋ

-Is that why they do heavy shading?

-Your cheek fat will disappear naturally when you hit late 30s or 40s. So, why spend money just to do that?

-Do they hate looking younger than they actually are?

-And then, they start transferring fat to their faces when they get olderㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Seriously, just love yourself.

-So in the West, when they do makeup, they emphasize their upper cheekbones and do heavy shading... Looks like they hate looking young. They seem to prefer to look charismatic and fierce.

-It’s really the complete opposite of South Korea.

-Meanwhile, we intentionally transfer fat to our facesㅋㅋㅋ Our beauty standards are so different.

-It seems like everyone around the world can't just love their own selves.
ㄴExactly, it’s just human nature to want what you don't have... But personally, I also want to be that slimㅋㅋ It looks so chic.

-My mom should go to America, then.

-They really do look like skeletons.

-It's not that they like hollow cheeks; they like to emphasize their cheekbones and jawlines.

The solo concept that SM Ent. originally wanted

Seohyun, describing Don't Say No, explained that it's a song sung 'shamelessly.' Originally, a different track was supposed to be the title of her album, but she personally persuaded Lee Sooman to make Don't Say No the title track.

SM Ent. initially opposed the mature and sexy concept of Seohyun’s album.

"They suggested a girlish concept, like releasing an album where I play the guitar. I appreciated the idea, especially since I’m already in my mid-20s. Haha. But there are a lot of younger artists who do that concept, and I’ve also done it many times myself. I wanted to show a different side of myself and share something new within me."

Girl with her guitar.
Something like this.

And this is the title track that made it:

'Don't Say No'

The solo concept that SM Ent. originally wanted

Meanwhile, Taemin shared the process of how 'Move' was decided to be his title track. "Originally, Lee Sooman wanted to make 'Love', one of the side tracks on the album, to be the title track. But I told him that I wanted to go with 'Move'. Then he said, 'We should go with what Taemin wants,' respecting my decision."

A dance track that focuses more on vocals

LOVE

And the song that was chosen as the title track:

MOVE

theqoo

-I watch all of Seohyun's performances in music shows for Don't Say No. The promotion period was too short.

-I still listen to Don't Say No.

-I love Don't Say No, but SM Ent.'s choice would've been better...ㅜㅜㅜ

-For female solo singers, I think it's better to be appealing to the public than to be conceptual. Therefore, I think SM Ent.'s choice could've been better. Meanwhile, for male solo singers, it's better for them to go with conceptual styles that their fans like. Therefore, Move is better than SM Ent.'s original choice.

-I listen to Don't Say No a lot, even to this day. I just learned today that it was actually Seohyun's pick. I love the song.

-Choosing Don't Say No to be Seohyun's title track is actually a good choice. Among the solo idol songs that came out at that time, Don't Say No is the only one that I still listen to regularly.

-Love is a great song, but Move had a bigger impact.

-Please have a re-comeback with Don't Say No.

-I just listened to Don't Say No for the first time and I think the song is really good. However I feel like the outfit and concept don't suit the song...?

-Wow, Seohyun's song is amazing; I just listened to it for the first time.

The title tracks SNSD Seohyun and SHINee Taemin persuaded SM Ent. to release despite the company's initial opposition

NewJeans’ special characteristic:

Each member's choreography has slight differences, yet their timing and rhythm are perfectly synchronized. I can’t even imagine how much they must have practiced.

This Tiktok video was from their early debut days!

theqoo

-I think Cookie is NewJeans' hidden gem. Both the song and choreography are amazing.

-They’re really good. Watching their performances makes my eyes feel freshㅋㅋ They've improved a lot with How Sweet.

-Ah, I want to see NewJeans on stage againㅠㅠㅠ

-The choreography for Cookie is seriously legendary.

-I wonder just how hard they practiced..

-They all have different moves, yet it feels unified... It's so cool.

-Personally, I think that is even harder than fully synchronized choreography. This is just my opinion!

-Hul, I always feel that too every time I watch NewJeans' performanceㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you take a closer look, they all have different movesㅋㅋㅋㅋ But that's what makes the whole choreography look so natural and fun.

-Their performance is so cool, I really want to see them live even just for once. I'm definitely looking forward to their year-end stages.

-I love how they all dance freely, yet they don't look chaotic at all.

-It's satisfying to see them all have different moves, but still perfectly match the rhythm.

-Both of them look like Manhwa characters. How did Tsuki get even cuter?ㅜㅜㅜㅜ

-Hul... I thought HYBE's idols wouldn't post challenges with non-HYBE idols... I guess I was wrong.

-Every time they post a challenge, I can't help but think of that reportㅠ

-All I can think is, "This is probably going to be added to the report"ㅋㅋㅋ

-There's no way this will only receive positive reactions.

-Wow... Both of them have such big eyes. It fascinates meㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-ILLIT's staff must have pretty thick skin. After that report got leaked, I thought they would be to embarrassed to go around asking other idols to film challengesㅠㅋㅋㅋ But again, they have to do everything the higher-ups order them to do... Tsuki is so freaking adorable.

-Since Tsuki comes from a small company, they probably think any kind of exposure would be good for their idols...

-I really love Tsuki's energy when she dances.

-Billlie might end up in HYBE's report tooㄷㄷ

-Tsuki is such a great dancer. I hope we all get to see her dancing more often...

-I wonder what will HYBE say about this in their report

theqoo

-That's like the price of an apartmentㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ

-Karina looks like a witch who has magical powers stored in that gem. So freaking pretty...

-Rihanna seems to pull it off the best.

-They must be taking turns to wear that necklace right...? There can’t be three of those massive gems, right?

-I've seen gems like that in real life, and they look even more beautiful and shine even brighter than in photos. You guys seriously have to go to a jewelry exhibit if you have time. It really lifts your mood to see pretty things like that.

-It looks like something that could increase your magic power if you wear it.

-Karina's neck is so long... She looks like a vampire.

-Karina's facial features are so fancyㅋㅋ I heard she was supposed to wear a different necklace, but it was sold. Am I right?

-Riri suits that necklace really well.

-If I had that around my neck, I'd be too nervous and can't even walk properly.

-Rihanna looks the best with it. Karina's dress covers the necklace a bitㅜ

-It seems like a hard necklace to pull off. Rihanna is the only one who looks natural with it.

-I feel this every time, but... Honestly, it doesn't look prettyㅠㅠ

-Rihanna is crazyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It suits her really well and her styling is on point.

-It seems like only people whose names end with 'na' can wear that necklace.

It's an art

theqoo

-He killed it.

-Park John is crazy

-Whoa... His deep voice is insane.

-This is legendary.

-I watched this clip at dawn and it has been on my mind all day since then..

-Whoa... I f*cking love this.

-His arrangement is so well-done.

-*Dancing internally*

-His voice is so sexyㄷㄷㄷ

-Whoa... What's with this arrangement? It's crazy. John Park's voice is also crazy.

-What's with his voice? This is very unfamiliar of you, John Park.

-His voice is insane...

-Ah right... I forgot he's a singer.

-John Park is so freaking sexy.

-I couldn't imagine a man singing Whiplash. But this is so freaking good.

-I thought it was a Whiplash parody and was expecting it to be funny... What is this? Please don't do this to me. My heart just skipped a beat.

John Park's cover of Whiplash is seriously insane

Top: Taylor Swift 1989 World Tour (2015)

Bottom: BTS Bang Bang Con (2020)

Top: Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour (2018)

Bottom: BTS 2019 MAMA Performance (2019)

I deleted the third comparison since it could cause confusion

You can't deny that they used (Taylor Swift) as their reference

theqoo

-That snake, though... Do they even know what that snake means to Taylor? How can they blatantly copy thatㅠㅠ This is so upsetting.

-Comparisons like these make it clear that knockoffs can't catch up to the originals. I'm not defending the knockoffs.

-I don't know if it's because I'm a fan of Taylor, but I can't accept it if they said the snake was just a coincidenceㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What relation does BTS have to that snake?

-I think they copied Taylor too much, both the first and second comparisons.

-It's funny that they can't even copy properly and end up with that kind of qualityㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Those umbrellas look cheap.

-They're copying Taylor's concept like it's a free source.

-Do they even know what that snake means to Taylor...?ㅋㅋ How can they just copy that? Especially with no context?

-I know what that snake means for Taylor, even as someone who is not really interested in pop singers... Why is there a snake on BTS' stage? It's so out of the blue.

-Taylor's snake has context and a narrative... Out of all the animals, a snake?

-It looks like they bought those umbrellas at a convenience store and just added some lightingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-The snake has something to do with Hermes or Asclepius; it has nothing to do with Dionysus.

-Seems like that company is really jealous that EXO's popularity was so huge, it was almost like a syndromeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-EXO's concepts were common?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Then why couldn't they be the first one to come up with those concepts? I don't get it

-If it's so common then why didn't they come up with those concepts first? They couldn't even think about it before EXO came up with those concepts?

-At this point, it's quite clear that they used EXO as reference.

-But aren't these concepts quite common?

-EXO and two groups cosplaying as EXO.

-Which group did the school uniform concept before EXO?

-&TEAM is just a copy-paste at this point.

-They can't even catch up to the original...

-They hate EXO so f*cking much but they also copy EXO at the f*cking same timeㅋㅋㅋㅋ

-Those two groups probably wouldn't even exist without EXO.

-You're telling me that school uniform concept was already common before EXO came up with it? Then, you tell me which group did that concept before EXO.

-What the heck are these?
