 NewJeans mentioned CEO Min Heejin at the 'The Fact Music Awards.'

On the second day of the '2024 The Fact Music Awards,' held on September 8, NewJeans expressed their gratitude to Min Heejin, the CEO of ADOR.

That day, NewJeans, alongside Aespa, won the 'Artist of the Year' award. NewJeans had confirmed their global popularity by advancing to the Billboard charts upon their Japanese debut in June, reaching beyond Korea and Japan.

On stage, NewJeans' Minji stated, "The reason we are able to receive this award is because of the people who support us and seek out our music. Thank you so much to our fans, Bunnies."

In her closing remarks, Danielle added, "We really love and appreciate CEO Min Heejin, who always cherishes and protects us."

Following their win for 'Artist of the Year,' NewJeans further solidified their status as a top girl group by also receiving the 'Musinsa Popularity Award.'

Meanwhile, conflicts between ADOR's Min Heejin and HYBE had been ongoing since earlier this year. Recently, on August 27, CEO Min Heejin stepped down from her position as CEO following a board meeting.

On September 2, Minji shared her thoughts for the first time through the fan communication platform, Phoning. She said, "There isn't even enough time in a day (for her) to only talk about the good things about us, I am very sorry (that she had) to endure such unnecessary troubles. I felt very frustrated as I couldn't resolve anything," indirectly referring to the HYBE-Min Heejin situation.

Minji continued, "I don't know if such uneasy days will continue, but even though it might sound selfish to say this, I hope we and our Bunnies won't have to spend any more difficult times."

Danielle also expressed, "In fact, after CEO Min Heejin was dismissed, we faced a lot of difficulties and worries. I think we were in a bit of a mental breakdown for a while. It was very unsettling."

The '2024 The Fact Music Awards,' organized by 'The Fact,' took place on September 7 and 8 at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan.

To me, it's an absolutely great part ㅋㅋㅋ Honestly, I was a bit surprised at first, but later I found myself eagerly waiting for it every time I listen to the song. It's addictive..
