AOA ex-member Jimin opens up about true feelings ahead of comeback: "I have to drink every day to fall asleep"

According to Herald Biz, Jimin recently shared her emotional stuggles ahead of the release of her new music on her personal social media account, "Finally, there's only one day left until the release of my new album." She added:

"For about a month, I was a total mess. Since I couldn't explain what I was going through, I had become the most sensitive person in the world."

Jimin stated, "I have to keep pushing forward on my own. I felt that if I continued acting this way, even the friends who have been helping me would eventually get tired of me." She added:

"I normally can't drink, but for an entire month, I drank every day just to fall asleep because medication wasn't helping."

She continued, "Honestly, I don't even have many friends to begin with, and lately it's been difficult to even meet up with them. Because I was so sensitive, things wouldn't sort themselves out when we met, and I often came home feeling hurt for some unknown reason."

She went on, saying, "Yesterday (the 8th), we finally finished the music video. After submitting it for review, I cried for about 20 minutes. My face completely went dark and my hair began turning gray. My lips were chapped and I bit my fingers so much that I couldn't even wash my hair comfortably."

She also expressed the pressure of continuing her music career alone, saying:

"Doing everything on my own was so overwhelming. There were so many things to pay attention to. Emotionally, it was very difficult."

She shared, "What does it matter if the song is good? What does it matter if the MV is good? What does it matter if the album jacket is good? So many people dislike me anyway."

She added, "Even my closest friends receive malicious comments simply just because they're friends with me. Rather than being a help, I sometimes feel like I'm holding them back."

Nevertheless, she also expressed gratitude to the people who have remained by her side, saying, "To my friends who have stayed with me through everything, thank you. Thank you for helping and supporting this reckless and unpredictable Jimin." She concluded:

"I don't expect a great amount of love, nor do I dare to imagine it. I just want to be someone that my friends, my fans, and my family can be proud of."

Having debuted as a member of AOA in 2012, Jimin left the team and suspended her activities in 2020. She later resumed her activities in 2022 by appearing in JTBC's 'The Second World.' Her new album is scheduled for release on June 10.

Wheein reveals their past 'one-week cold war': "Hwasa and I got drunk and ended up throwing punches"

According to Xports News, MAMAMOO appeared as guests in the video posted on Shin Dongyup's Youtube channel on the 8th, where Hwasa and Wheein looked back on an intense argument they had in the past.

In the video, MAMAMOO shared, "We used to fight quite often like real sisters." Solar joked, "It was possible because we were young back then, we still had the energy for it. Our bodies would just react. As we get older, we just get physically too tired."

Hwasa added, "I think fighting can actually be a good thing. It's good to fight things out," to which Shin Dongyup agreed, saying, "Bottling up emotions can lead to unhealthy relationships."

In particular, since Wheein and Hwasa have been close friends since the first year of the middle school, the conversation naturally turned to the fights between the two. Wheein revealed:

"Rather than small fights, we've actually had a few really big ones. We even got into a fistfight once."

Hearing this, Hwasa immediately added, "On top of that, we were drunk." Wheein recalled, "At first, we were hugging each other, saying we loved each other, and being emotional." She added:

"Somehow, things suddenly escalated over something completely trivial. We started hitting and kicking each other. We fought."

Hwasa emphasized that it was over nothing major, saying, "I don't even remember what caused the argument." Wheein revealed, "Since I'm the type of person who doesn't blackout and Hwasa is the type who does, I remembered everything, but she remembered it differently." She added:

"Things were awkward between us for over a week before we finally made up."

Solar shared that she unintentionally became a messenger between the two, saying, "We had a schedule the next day. Wheein kept asking me to pass messages to Hwasa instead of talking to her directly. She could've just spoken to Hwasa directly, but she kept making me pass the words." She added:

"The two of them wouldn't even look at each other. When I found out later that they had fought, I just hoped they would make up quickly.
