Oh My Girl's Mimi opened up about her first earnings.

On the 7th, Swings, Mimi, and Kim Daeho appeared as guests on the first episode of 'Mudaepo' titled 'Swings' story about getting scammed out of 50 million KRW by an unknown woman (feat. Lee Eunji, Mimi, Kim Daeho).'

In the video, Lee Eunji asked Mimi when she first started earning 'real money,' to which Mimi replied, "For me, even my very first settlement was in the negative."

She explained, "Girl groups cost a lot of money. It takes a lot of money to maintain them. Unless you're very successful, you're usually in the negative. In my case, since I barely had any solo activities, my first proper income actually came from Youtube."

She continued, "A lot of people enjoyed my vlogs showing me eating and my comfortable daily life. I earned money for the first time through the views. To me, that was a huge amount of money. It still is. That's why Youtube is something very precious and meaningful to me."

Meanwhile, Mimi debuted in 2015 with Oh My Girl and has been running a Youtube channel called 'MimPD' since 2019, which currently has around 547,000 subscribers.

Nana and her mother appear in court over unjust claims ... Trial continues with 'testimony from officials who wrote their medical reports'

SOURCE: '강도 상해' 나나 모녀 억울 등판, 재판은 계속 "상해 진단서 관계자 증인 신문"

The trial regarding singer and actress Nana's home invasion and robbery case continues.

According to legal sources on the 12th, the 1st Criminal Division of the Euijeongbu District Court's Namyangju Branch will hold the fourth hearing for Mr. A, who is charged with robbery and causing injury to Nana and her mother, and proceed with witness examinations. The court had previously announced that officials who issued the medical injury reports for Nana and her mother would testify that day.

During the previous hearing, Nana and her mother attended in person as witnesses. Although Nana's side had expressed their wish not to attend because she did not want to face Mr. A directly, she ultimately had no choice but to comply. After coming face-to-face with Mr. A in court, Nana reportedly could not contain her anger and yelled, "Is this fun for you? Look at me straight in the eyes."

She also reportedly raised her voice in court, saying, "In my own way, I believe I gave Mr. A every possible chance given the situation and made the right choices. I don't understand why this trial is being dragged out for so long and why I have to endure this humiliation. It feels like I'm being victimized endlessly." At the same time, she also expressed pity toward Mr. A, saying, "I entered the courtroom feeling angry, but as we went through the details of the incident one by one, I started to feel sorry for him. I hope his sentence doesn't get any heavier. I hope it ends here and that he truly reflects on his actions."

According to prosecutors, Mr. A is accused of breaking into Nana's home in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, around 6 PM (KST) on November 15 last year while carrying a weapon, threatening Nana and her mother, and attempting to steal money. Nana and her mother were injured while subduing him and reporting the incident to the police.

Mr. A has denied most of the charges. During the first hearing on January 20, he claimed through his legal representative that the weapon found at the scene did not belong to him, but was something the victim (Nana) had brought out from inside the house. He added, "I only entered because I thought it was an empty house and inteded to steal something," and even went as far as claiming that he was 'beaten one-sidedly.'

Mr. A also sued Nana for attempted murder and aggravated assault, claiming that he was injured while Nana and her mother were subduing him. The police concluded that Nana's actions were self-defense and decided not to forward the case due to lack of charges. Subsequently, Nana sued A for false accusation.

The sentencing hearing is reportedly scheduled to take place on June 4.

Soyou suffers a fall accident during MV filming → Filming halted ... "I was taken to the ER ... I blacked out"

SOURCE: '20kg 감량' 소유, 뮤비 촬영 중 추락 사고→촬영 중단 사태…"응급실 이송, 기억도 끊겨" [RE:뷰]

Singer Soyou suffered a fall from an escalator during a rehearsal for her music video filming.

On the 11th, a video titled 'Going to the ER while filming an MV' was posted on Soyou's Youtube channel, 'Soyougi.' The video showed the process of Soyou experiencing an unexpected accident on the set of her new music video and then continuing with filming afterward. During rehearsals on a subway station escalator, Soyou suddenly lost her balance and tumbled downward. The staff immediately stopped filming and arranged for her to be taken to the hospital.

Right after the accident, the production team held an emergency meeting and discussed moving to the next location while excluding the subway scene. However, filming resumed two hours later when Soyou returned to the set. Soyou explained, "It was just bruising," and added, "I don't even remember screaming in that moment. When I got to the ER, my blood pressure was very low. I was so shocked that I can't remember." She confessed that even while in pain, she kept thinking, "I have to film the subway scene. I should figure out a way."

She also mentioned that she was unable to complete the detailed examinations at the hospital. Soyou said, "I was supposed to wait for the CT scan results, but I just said, 'No, I'm leaving,' and left." When the staff expressed concern about the remaining filming schedule, she replied, "Right now, I'm just chanting to myself, 'It doesn't hurt.'" She later completed the remaining shoots, including the office-concept scenes and rooftop filming.

After wrapping up the filming, Soyou commented, "Today's filming was really rough from the start. There were a lot of new attempts that I was unfamiliar with, but I think we finished it all." Soyou, who recently drew attention after revealing that she lost weight from 68kg to 48kg while preparing her comeback, returned to the music scene on April 29 with her third EP, 'Off Hours.'

Yeojin reveals her weight at 33kg ... "Severely underweight" vs "It's normal because she's short"

SOURCE: 여진, 몸무게 33kg 인증…"심각한 저체중" vs "키가 작으니 정상" [소셜in]

A recent update on Yeojin (Im Yeojin), member LOOSSEMBLE and formerly of LOONA, has been revealed.

Recently, Yeojin posted a photo on her social media story without any caption.

In the released photo, the scale displayed Yeojin's weight as '33.30kg.'

After the photo was posted, it quickly spread across online communities and social media, drawing various reactions from netizens.

Some netizens responded with comments like, "What did she expect by posting this? For us to worry?", "Why would she post that?", "That was my weight in elementary school," "Going on a diet when she isn't even 35kg," "No matter how short she is, that's too extreme," "Even for a short person, 33kg is severely underweight," and "Did she really take that photo and posted it herself?"

On the other hand, some netizens commented, "It's concerning, but maybe it's because she's short?", "Maybe she posted it because it said 333?", and "It's normal since she's short."

As fans continued expressing concern, Yeojin reassured them through a fan communication platform, saying, "It seems like you all are worrying too much about my weight. You don't need to worry that much."

She continued, "I'm okay. I managed my weight a bit since our comeback is coming up. Once promotions are over, I plan to gain weight again. I hope you won't worry too much. I don't go overboard with dieting either. I eat a lot, so please stop worrying."

Yeojin also responded to a fan's comment saying, "I thought you just posted it because it showed 333," by replying, "That's actually true. I posted it because the repeating numbers looked cute. I was surprised to receive so much concern."

Was it a setup or rape? ... The full story behind 'meal date' between Jisoo's older brother and a BJ

SOURCE: [단독] "셋업일까, 강간일까?"…지수오빠, BJ '식데'의 전말

Someone is lying. For example, it goes like this:

Mr. A: "She went into the bedroom first. I naturally thought it was a green light."

Ms. B: "I grabbed his wrist and went into the master bedroom. I just wanted to put him to sleep quickly so I could go home."

Same time, same place, but completely different statements. Even their memories of the bedroom clash. The order in which they entered (the bedroom) and the reason for sitting (on the bed), their claims differ on every point.

Someone is lying, or at least is giving false testimony. The problem is that there aren't many ways to prove whose statement is credible. For now, investigators can only rely on what each side is saying.

Dispatch investigated the sexual assault allegations involving a top star's older brother and a BJ. The suspect is Mr. A, the older brother of BLACKPINK's Jisoo, while the alleged victim is Ms. B, who is active as a BJ.

First, these are the parts where both sides' statements match. The positions of Mr. A and Ms. B were conveyed through their legal representatives.

What doesn't change: Meal date

Mr. A logged onto SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV). By chance, he entered Ms. B's personal livestream. He sent her 35,000 star balloons, worth approximately 3.5 million KRW.

Mr. A obtained a 'meal date ticket' and met Ms. B on April 15 at an izakaya in Cheongdam-dong. They entered at 6.30 PM and left around 10 PM.

The 'meal date' continued to a second round. The two headed to Mr. A's house. Ms. B explained why she followed him there, saying, "He was very gentle during dinner. There was no physical contact at all."

While riding in a taxi, Mr. A ordered delivery food. The two ate late-night snack in the kitchen and drank alcohol. Afterward, they moved to the sofa and turned on the TV.

Up to this point, both of their memories matched. The problem begins with what happened after the sofa.

Conflicting memories: The bedroom

Kitchen → Dining table → Living room → Sofa → Master bedroom → Bed.

The route constructed by both sides matched. However, the order of movement is different.

First, Mr. A shared his version of the events, "She got up from the sofa first and went into the bedroom. She went to the bed first, and she went alone. I naturally took that as a green light."

Ms. B refuted this, calling it 'Mr. A's misunderstanding.,' saying, "Mr. A said he was sleepy because he had taken zolpidem. So I grabbed his wrist and led him to the bed. I wanted to put him to sleep quickly so I could go home. I also had to do a livestream review broadcast about the meal date."

Why is the man emphasizing the order of movement? According to Mr. A, it was an act of 'seduction.' He said, "It's a house where a man lives alone, and she went into the bedroom by herself. How else should that be interpreted? That she was trying to put me to sleep? Nothing was detected in the police rapid drug test."

Ms. B's side explained it as 'part of a BJ's professional nature' and claimed that it was 'not strange behavior at all.' She said, "Mr. A was a big spender. I couldn't just leave him alone. I have to make a good impression. Since he said he was sleepy, I took him into the bedroom to put him to sleep quickly so I could go home."

Conflicting claims: The act

Sexual crimes begin with sexual acts accompanied by violence or threats. Depending on whether sexual intercourse occured, the charge becomes 'rape' and depending on physical contact, it may be classified as 'molestation.'

So, what actually happened between them? Mr. A denied sexual intercourse occurred, saying, "It only remained an attempt," while Ms. B countered that 'an actual act took place.'

Let's hear more of Mr. A's claims. He said, "She was sitting on the edge of the bed. I hugged her and suggested her to sleep with me. Naturally, it led to physical contact. (...) But right at that moment..."

Ms. B's story is completely different. She said, "I was sitting on the bed trying to put Mr. A to sleep. But he kept pulling me toward him, saying that we should sleep together. When I tried to get up because I was shocked, he forced me down onto the bed."

During the investigation, Ms. B changed the accusation against Mr. A to 'rape.'

She said, "He pulled me forcefully. He also forcibly removed my bottoms. When I resisted, he pinned me down with his whole body. Then he attempted intercourse. At that moment, I..."

Conflicting claims: Consent

The key in determining a sexual crime is the other person's intent. Whether the act was consensual or forced is what determines whether a sexual crime occurred.

The two sides presented completely different arguments regarding this aspect as well.

Mr. A said, "She didn't resist at all. The process happened naturally," adding, "If she wanted, I could've stopped it at any time."

He then brought up 'that moment' mentioned earlier, "While engaging in physical contact, I pulled down her bottoms. At that moment, she said she needed to use the bathroom. She said, 'I'm going to wash up first.' We both went to separate bathrooms and cleaned ourselves."

Ms. B's account is different, saying, "He came at me aggressively. I strongly resisted, but it was useless. I just wanted to get out of that situation, so I made up the excuse and suggested we should wash up first."

Conflicting claims: Bathroom 1

The police investigation began. So far, there is only testimony from both sides. Mr. A asked Dispatch for an opportunity to refute Ms. B's claims. Ms. B did the same.

Mr. A said, "She says I forced her? If that were true, she shouldn't have washed up in the bathroom. She would've needed to preserve evidence of rape. Her story doesn't add up."

Ms. B said, "Why did I wash up? Because I thought he would get suspicious if I didn't. I thought he would question why I went to the bathroom. I was actually buying time to report it while pretending to wash up."

Dispatch confirmed the KakaoTalk messages Ms. B sent to her manager from the bathroom during the first bathroom trip:

Ms. B: Save me. Seriously. Something bad is happening.

Manager: Why? Why? Call me

Ms. B: Right now

Manager: Why?

Ms. B: I came to this bastard's house. I think I'm about to get raped.

Ms. B said, "He says I washed up because I wanted the intercourse? There would have been no reason to send a message to my manager. My manager immediately called the police after receiving my messages."

Conflicting claims: Setup

Mr. A claimed that this was part of Ms. B's 'setup' scheme, saying, "If she had refused, I wouldn't have even started. I never forced anything and she never resisted. There was absolutely no reason for me to force her."

He argued that everything had been planned by Ms. B and her associates, giving three reasons as evidence: 1) they knew his identity, 2) she continuously showed interest in him, and 3) she could stop this at any time.

1) "The person claiming to be the BJ's manager showed up at the scene with the police. While filming me with a camera, he said, 'You're Jisoo's brother right? You're f***ed now.' They knew exactly who I was."

2) "(During the meal date) she said things like, 'You're my ideal type' and 'I want to look pretty for you.' She also said, 'I've never met someone who lives in Cheongdam-dong,' and wanted to be invited over. That's how she ended up following me home and entering the bedroom first."

3) "During the intercourse, I stopped twice at her request. I never blocked her from going to the bathroom. If she didn't want it, she could've stopped at any time. And in fact, that's what happened."

Ms. B rebutted each point one by one:

1) "He introduced himself as a businessman who had sold a famous online shopping mall. I searched his KakaoTalk profile picture on Google and found out he was Jisoo's brother. That's how I knew."

2) "He was the one who suggested going to his house that day. I followed him because he promised there would be no physical contact. I only went to the bedroom to put him to sleep quickly so I could leave for my broadcast."

3) "I repeatedly asked him to stop. I couldn't leave the house because my bottoms had already been taken off. He was waiting outside the bathroom too, so I couldn't get out."

Conflicting claims: Bathroom 2

The two sides were also sharply divided regarding what happened in the bathrom.

First, Ms. B said, "In the first bathroom trip, I asked my manager for help. I bought time by asking for body wash. I couldn't stay in there too long because I was scared he would get suspicious."

According to Ms. B, she came out of the bathroom at 11.53 PM and claimed that Mr. A's aggressive advances started again.

Ms. B said, "He was waiting right in front of the bathroom door. As soon as I came out of the bathroom, he took off my top and started kissing my neck."

Ms. B continued, "He kissed my neck and lips. I escaped back to the bathroom, saying I needed to brush my teeth. I sent my manager a video of the kiss marks on my neck and asked for help a second time."

Mr. A's account was different. He said, "That's why the rape claim makes even less sense. I never stopped her. I stopped when she told me to stop. I let her go when she said she was going to the bathroom. She could've just gone home."

Conflicting claims: Timeline

This is the timeline of what allegedly happened at the house that day.

First alleged assault: 11.30 PM - 11.42 PM

First bathroom trip: 11.42 PM - 11.53 PM

Second alleged assault: 11.53 PM - 11.59 PM

Second bathroom trip: 11.59 PM - 12.04 AM

Police arrival: 12.12 AM

Ms. B stated, "I struggled to escape the man's restraint. During that process, I suffered bruises that were not visible to the naked eye. I have submitted a medical injury report for these injuries."

Attorney Lee Minhyung from Dongin Law Group said, "She told him to stop dozens of times, but couldn't stop him. A crime motivated by money? If that were the case, she wouldn't have reported it to the police. We hope the secondary victimization stops."

Mr. A disagreed, saying, "There are two bathrooms in my house. While I was washing up in the bathroom, she could've just left. She moved around however she wanted. I never stopped her."

Mr. A continued, "She knew I was the brother of a celebrity. I suspect this is a 'setup' case aimed at financial gain. Since it would've become blackmail or extortion if they had demanded money first, they reported it to the police and aimed for a settlement instead."

The tension remain high as neither side is willing to back down. Ms. B is holding Mr. A responsible for sexual assault, while Mr. A plans to counter with charges of false accusation. What is the truth of that night? Someone is lying.
