THE BOYZ's Younghoon shading on 'PD Note' episode of MC Mong and Cha Gawon? ... "I'm glad more people know about it now"

According to a recent report by Sports Chosun, THE BOYZ's Younghoon left a highly meaningful remark on a fan communication platform which led many fan to speculate about its meaning due to its timing and wording:

"I was watching TV today and something interesting came on. I'm glad it seems that more people have become aware of it now. I hope everything gets resolved well for all the victims."

The reason is because on June 2nd, MBC's 'PD Note' aired an episode titled 'MC Mong and the chairwoman's K-pop business secrets.' In this episode, 'PD Note' raised allegations that MC Mong and One Hundred Label Chairwoman Cha Gawon were in an inappropriate relationship and engaged in illegal gamblings together. The episode also claimed that Cha Gawon had personally misused advance payments totaling 115 billion KRW belonging to One Hundred Label and its subsidiaries and that artists under the company, including Lee Seunggi and Baekhyun, were charged exclusive contract fees over three times higher than the standard in the industry.

In response, Cha Gawon denied all the allegations, stating, "Not a single KRW of the advance payments was used for purposes other than production costs." MC Mong also rejected all claims made by 'PD Note,' calling them fabricated, and announced plans to pursue a lawsuit seeking approximately 100 billion KRW in damages.

Amidst this situation, Younghoon's message has drawn attention because he is currently involved in a legal dispute with One Hundred Label.

In February, nine members of THE BOYZ, excluding New, notified One Hundred Label that they were terminating their exclusive contracts due to a breakdown of trust, unpaid settlements, and other issues. Last month, the court approved the members' request for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts.

However, One Hundred Label countered, stating, "We have already paid signing bonuses of 1.5 billion KRW to each member of THE BOYZ, totaling 16.5 billion KRW," and arguedthat the members should repay an amount corresponding to the remaining duration of their contracts.

"She was married, but we dated" ... Cha Gawon's uncle exposes test messages in which MC Mong admits to an affair

According to a recent report by MyDaily, private text messages between singer-producer MC Mong and P.Ark Group and One Hundred Label Chairwoman Cha Gawon were revealed, drawing significant attention from the public.

In this episode, Cha Gawon's uncle and also the head of a major construction development company identified as Mr. A appeared and exposed the raw, unfiltered messages that he claimed to have received directly from MC Mong. In the messages, MC Mong allegedly wrote:

"I dated Gawon. Three years ago, she asked me out. After thinking about it for a long time, I agreed to date her. Even though she was married, she told me she was in the process of getting a divorce. I was grateful for how much she took care of and protected me. As a man, I gambled. I gambled with Cha Gawon. She also helped me pay off some of my gambling debts."

Mr. A claimed that after receiving those messages, MC Mong personally visited him and threatened to expose his relationship with Cha Gawon to the media, engaging in intimidation and attempted extortion.

However, the explanations from Cha Gawon are completely different. She strongly countered:

"If I open my mouth, a lot of people will get hurt. The entire entertainment industry could turn completely upside down."

Cha Gawon explained that she came to know MC Mong after he asked for help because investors were withdrawing from his company. Hower, starting in early 2025, Cha Gawon repeatedly received reports about his involvement in prostitution, which made her feel deeply betrayed. After causing problems and leaving, MC Mong joined forces with Mr. A. Cha Gawon added, "If it weren't for that, the company would never have ended up in this situation."

In short, Cha Gawon's side maintains that the allegations regarding their private lives are completely false and part of an attempt by the two men to seize control of the company. MC Mong also denied the affair allegations and directed criticism toward the broadcasting station, stating that the messages had been fabricated and pieced together maliciously.

Later, MC Mong expressed his frustation during a livestream, saying:

"I intend to fight this with my reputation on the line. I will hold them accountable for taking away the last 18 years of my life. I will also file a damages lawsuit worth approximately 100 billion KRW against the producers of 'PD Note.'"

MC Mong addresses IU’s apology over 'Perfect Crown' controversy: “Why is she the one apologizing? Celebrities are the weak ones”

Singer MC Mong mentioned the apology statements made by the actors regarding the historical distortion controversy surrounding 'Perfect Crown' in his third livestream.

On the 20th, MC Mong held a livestream through his personal account.

While talking about allegations that MBC PDs and Cha Junyoung violated Korea's Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, he also brought up MBC's recent drama 'Perfect Crown,' which recently caught up in a historical distortion controversy.

Previously, IU personally posted an apology statement when the controversy over historical distortion in the drama escalated.

Regarding this, MC Mong said, "Why is IU the one bowing her head when the staff members who caused the historical distortion aren't taking responsibility?" He added, "Celebrities whose faces are publicly known are in the weaker position here."

Recently, drama 'Perfect Crown' faced criticism over alleged historical distortion due to lines such as 'Cheonse' and scenes featuring Chinese-style royal etiquette.

As the controversy intensified, lead actors IU and Byun Wooseok posted handwritten apology letters on the 18th, while director Park Joonhwa tearfully apologized during an interview with reporters the following day.

Screenwriter Yoo Jiwon also separately posted an apology statement, meaning the actors, director, and writer all publicly apologized over the controversy.

MC Mong claims, “THE BOYZ received 16.5 billion KRW in signing bonuses, and Baekhyun’s production costs reached 15 billion KRW"

SOURCE: MC몽 "더보이즈 계약금 165억, 백현 제작비 150억..받은 건 기억 못 해" 주장 [스타이슈]

Singer and producer MC Mong (47, real name Shin Dong-hyun) publicly criticized THE BOYZ.

On the evening of the 18th at 8 PM (KST), MC Mong held a livestream on TikTok, as he had previously announced.

MC Mong is currently in conflict with Cha Gawon, co-founder of One Hundred, and her uncle, construction businessman Cha Junyoung. Explaining why he left the company, MC Mong said, "Cha Gawon and I clashed and fought often because our management styles were different. We had a huge fight in last May, and I was kicked out."

Nevertheless, MC Mong could not hide his anger over artists leaving the agency after his departure.

In particular, MC Mong drew attention by mentioning the recruitment of THE BOYZ, saying, "We gave them 1.5 billion KRW each, for a total signing bonus of 16.5 billion KRW." He added, "That amount was three times more than what their previous agency gave them. After paying 16.5 billion KRW, the production cost for their first album alone was 7 billion KRW."

MC Mong criticized the group by saying, "If THE BOYZ's members each received 1.5 billion KRW, they should repay at least 8 billion KRW before leaving. But they don't even want to pay that back. What kind of nonsense is that?"

Furthermore, he stated, "Baekhyun's first album cost 10 billion KRW, and the second one probably cost around 5 billion KRW," before adding, "I’m also a celebrity and singer, but singers are strange. They only remember what they earned. They don’t remember what they received or how much was spent on them."

Recently, nine members of THE BOYZ, excluding New, claimed they had not received settlement payments and notified the agency of contract termination, while also filing lawsuit against the agency's chairwoman, Cha Gawon, on charges of embezzlement. Last month, THE BOYZ’s side released an official statement, saying, "The court approved our injunction request to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract with One Hundred."

However, One Hundred responded, "We will file an objection appeal as soon as possible."

MC Mong: "Who would solicit prostitution with their own girlfriend? This is malicious reporting" ... Strongly denies allegations

MC Mong has strongly denied allegations of soliciting prostitutions.

On the 5th, MC Mong told Ilgan Sports, "It was not prostitution," adding tearfully, "One of them is my girlfriend. Who in the world pays for prostitution with their own girlfriend?"

He explained, "The man is a younger friend I know. Out of the three women, one was my girlfriend, another one was her friend, and the last one was someone I met for the first time at that gathering."

He continued, "We spent about 2 to 3 hours together. Then, because I had to talk to Chairwoman Cha Gawon about my decision to leave the company (One Hundred), they left. That is everything that happened that day."

MC Mong raised his voice, saying, "I don't know what those people did for work in the past. But is it right to bring up prostitution suspicions and even talk about my girlfriend like that?" He added, "Isn reporting suspicions like this itself malicious?"

Earlier, these allegations were raised through claims made on a Youtube channel, which were then shared on TV Chosun's 'Morning Talk Show' that aired on the 4th.

The video shown in the show was CCTV footage from an apartment elevator. It was reportedly released after residents living in the same apartment as MC Mong filed complaints saying, "It seems like there is prostitution in our apartment," and "It seems like our apartment is being used as a location for prostitution," leading the management office to check and disclose the footage for investigation purposes.

The video showed three women and one man riding the elevator together. Claims were made that the man was a friend of MC Mong and the three women were hostesses.

Regarding this, MC Mong explained to the media that he 'had dinner and a wine party with people he knew.' When asked about claims that 'some of the women are known to work in adult entertainment establishments,' he countered by saying, "Just because someone works at a bar doesn't mean they engage in prostitution."

The footage was from before MC Mong stepped down from his position as co-CEO of One Hundred last year. Some have claimed that this incident was a factor behind his resignation.

MC Mong is currently at the center of multiple controversies. During his time as co-CEO of One Hundred, he was also involved in allegations including an affair scandal with P_ARC Group Chairwoman Cha Gawon, which he has also strongly denied.

BEST COMMENTS:

1. [+254][-14] Why do I feel like the allegations are actually true just because he's MC Mong?;

2. [+241][-4] He really does all kinds of things.

3. [+198][-6] Why didn't he say it was his girlfriend from the start? Why did he say it was just 'people he knows'? Was he embarrassed? Don't cry and claim that you're being wronged~ We don't care.

4. [+30][-0] But wait, how famous are those women that total strangers already know they work at a bar..

5. [+27][-0] Did they only start dating today? Or did they just start dating now because they got caught?

MC Mong involved in prostitution allegations as well ... CCTV footage revealed after complaints from apartment residents

SOURCE: MC몽, 성매매 의혹도 터졌다…아파트 주민 신고에 CCTV 공개 [스타이슈]

MC Mong (Real name: Shin Donghyun) is facing allegations of prostitution following earlier allegations of illegal drug prescriptions.

Recently, a video titled 'Behind 'MC Mong's affair rumors,' there were fabricated evidence, greed, and 'uncle'' was posted on Youtube.

In the video, reporter Kim Sungmin said, "Around June 2025, while MC Mong was in business together with Chairman Cha Gawon, there were rumors that he engaged in prostitution at the apartment where he lived. Complaints kept coming in, so the security office released the CCTV footage. Around 11 PM, his acquaintances were captured taking hostesses up the elevator. When this video was shown to MC Mong, he admitted to it."

Residents living in the same apartment as MC Mong filed complains with the management office, saying, "It seems like there is prostitution in our apartment," and "It seems like our apartment is being used as a location for prostitution." The management office reportedly checked the matter and released the CCTV footage. The footage shows three women, believed to be hostesses, getting on and off the elevator with a man.

Regarding this, MC Mong explained, "It was just a day when I had dinner and a wine party with people I know." However, when reporter Kim Sungmin said, "Some of them reportedly work at adult entertainment establishments. I've confirmed this," MC Mong replied, "Not everyone who works at a bar sells their body," but he is reported to have eventually admitted to the allegations.

The reporter added, "Of course, the company had to investigate. If complaints keep coming in, it could cause problems for the company. Previously, The Boyz's member Ju Haknyeon was mentioned in prostitution allegations and MC Mong's name was mentioned as well." He added, "At the time, the situation seemed to end because the focus was on Ju Haknyeon. But the company felt they needed to verify things quickly, and once the CCTV footage was released, the matter came to light."

He further stated, "MC Mong said himself, 'I will step down,' and 'I will leave my professional role at the company.'"

Meanwhile, MC Mong is also facing allegations of obtaining illegal drug prescriptions. It has been reported that he was prescribed and took the psychotropic drug Zolpidem by having it prescribed under his manager's name.

BEST COMMENTS:

1. [+519][-7] Just imagine how bad was it that the residents went as far as reporting it.

2. [+491][-1] This trash guy, ffs...There's literally no scandal where he doesn't get involved in.

3. [+442][-10] He really does all kinds of bad things.

4. [+35][-1] If it was just one woman, people would have thought it was a girlfriend. What are you doing calling three women at once? That's pathetic.

5. [+29][-1] I guess the sayings 'you can't fix a person' and 'people act exactly how they look' are really true.
