Nam Jihyun admits she caught the 'celebrity disease' right after 4Minute's debut ... "I changed after the members pointed it out"

According to a recent report by Xports News, former 4Minute's member Nam Jihyun shared how she overcame the 'celebrity disease' in a video titled 'She earned 11 certifications ... Why 4Minute's Nam Jihyun became a Barre instructor' that was posted on the Youtube channel '1ma2c' on the 4th.

In the video, Nam Jihyun shared updates on her life after leaving the entertainment industry and actively working as a Barre instructor. She said, "While promoting in a girl group, I learned at a young age that nothing in this world comes free and that rewards only come through hard work."

She added, "I was always in an environment where we were constantly compared to others. Ironically, I learned how to evaluate myself objectively through the process where success is determined by rankings." She then honestly confessed:

"I used to have the 'celebrity disease.' Our debut song became a huge hit right away. As 'Hot Issue' won first place on music shows, I fell into the illusion that everything I touched would succeed. I mistakenly believed it was all because I was superior."

Nam Jihyun revealed that the ones who pointed out her 'celebrity disease' were none other than her fellow 4Minute's members, saying:

"I'm really thankful to the members because they told me, 'Unnie, the staff have been saying that you've caught the 'celebrity disease.' At the time, I was only thinking from my own point of view and saying things like, 'I don't want to do this.' I thanked them for letting me know and fixed my attitude immediately."

Looking back, Nam Jihyun reflected, "I have always been a fairly direct person, but I think it would have been much better if I had the mindset of, 'Thank you for giving me this opportunity." She added:

"I was immature back then. Deep down, I thought I was good at everything. I was close to becoming a monster."

Nana's home intruder submits medical report: "I suffered a knife wound of 5cm on my nose"

On the 4th, MHN Sports reported that the 1st Criminal Division of the Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court held a hearing for Mr. A, who is charged with robbery resulting in bodily injury. Although the court had concluded arguments on May 19, they opened an additional hearing date ahead of the sentencing.

In his final statement this day, Mr. A maintained the same position he had stated previously, saying, "It is exactly the same as what I said in the last trial," and added:

"I don't know if I'm allowed to submit this, but I have brought a medical report stating that I was struck by a knife and suffered a wound measuring more than 5 cm."

Previously, the prosecution revealed that on the day of his arrest, he had posted questions on online forums, such as, "What happens if an intruder is stabbed by the homeowner with a knife?" and "Possibility of pretrial detention in an attempted armed robbery case." Regarding this, Mr. A argued:

"I already explained this during the police investigation. I posted that simply just because I was curious about what kind of punishment I would face after the incident. I wrote those posts after speaking with the victims."

In the previous hearing, the prosecution requested a 10-year prison sentence for Mr. A, noting the severity of the crime, the lack of remorse, and the failure to reach a settlement with the victims as reasons for the request.

On the other hand, Mr. A's side admits to trespassing with the intention of stealing, but denies the robbery charge. His attorney argued:

"Mr. A broke into Nana's house solely for the purpose of theft, not robbery. There is no objective evidence proving that he was carrying a weapon when he broke in."

*NB: Theft is the act of taking someone else's property without permission with no violence or threat involved (The owner isn't present or doesn't immediately realize their property is gone). Meanwhile robbery is the act of taking property directly from a person against their will, usually done through violence or intimidation.

Mr. A was put on trial on charges of breaking into Nana's house in Acheon-dong, Guri, Gyeonggi-do in November of last year. He threatened Nana and her mother, demanding cash and valuables. Investigations revealed that he had targeted the luxury residential neighborhood while experiencing financial difficulties

At the time, Mr. A used a ladder to enter the house through the balcony. He became involved in a physical altercation with Nana while he was threatening Nana's mother. It is reported that Mr. A sustained injuries to his face during this struggle.

Following the incident, Mr. A filed a criminal complaint against Nana, claiming that she injured him with a weapon and accusing her of attempted murder and aggravated assault. However, the police determined Nana's actions to be self-defense and decided not to forward the case to the prosecution. In response, Nana has counter-sued Mr. A on charges of false accusation.

The sentencing hearing for Mr. A is scheduled to take place on June 9.

THE BOYZ's Younghoon shading on 'PD Note' episode of MC Mong and Cha Gawon? ... "I'm glad more people know about it now"

According to a recent report by Sports Chosun, THE BOYZ's Younghoon left a highly meaningful remark on a fan communication platform which led many fan to speculate about its meaning due to its timing and wording:

"I was watching TV today and something interesting came on. I'm glad it seems that more people have become aware of it now. I hope everything gets resolved well for all the victims."

The reason is because on June 2nd, MBC's 'PD Note' aired an episode titled 'MC Mong and the chairwoman's K-pop business secrets.' In this episode, 'PD Note' raised allegations that MC Mong and One Hundred Label Chairwoman Cha Gawon were in an inappropriate relationship and engaged in illegal gamblings together. The episode also claimed that Cha Gawon had personally misused advance payments totaling 115 billion KRW belonging to One Hundred Label and its subsidiaries and that artists under the company, including Lee Seunggi and Baekhyun, were charged exclusive contract fees over three times higher than the standard in the industry.

In response, Cha Gawon denied all the allegations, stating, "Not a single KRW of the advance payments was used for purposes other than production costs." MC Mong also rejected all claims made by 'PD Note,' calling them fabricated, and announced plans to pursue a lawsuit seeking approximately 100 billion KRW in damages.

Amidst this situation, Younghoon's message has drawn attention because he is currently involved in a legal dispute with One Hundred Label.

In February, nine members of THE BOYZ, excluding New, notified One Hundred Label that they were terminating their exclusive contracts due to a breakdown of trust, unpaid settlements, and other issues. Last month, the court approved the members' request for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts.

However, One Hundred Label countered, stating, "We have already paid signing bonuses of 1.5 billion KRW to each member of THE BOYZ, totaling 16.5 billion KRW," and arguedthat the members should repay an amount corresponding to the remaining duration of their contracts.

SECRET confirms reunion after 12 years ... "We are currently preparing for a comeback"

It has been reported that girl group SECRET is preparing for a comeback roughly 12 years after their last promotions.

On the 4th, representatives from RBW stated to MHN Sports:

"It is true that SECRET is currently preparing for a comeback. More detailed information regarding the comeback will be announced at a later date."

Earlier on the same day, JoyNews24 also reported that SECRET members Jeon Hyosung and Jung Hana are moving forward with a reunion project. According to the report, the two are preparing to promote as a three-member group with the addition of a new member.

This project is reportedly being organized and produced by RBW. The group is said to be considering reinterpreting and releasing new version of SECRET's hit songs.

Notably, just a day before the comeback reports surfaced, Jeon Hyosung drew attention by leaving a meaningful post on her personal social media account. Alongside several photos, she wrote:

"Trying out the 'Shy Boy' makeup again. Bringing back 2011. First things first, let's gather all Secret Time."

In the pictures, Jeon Hyosung captured with styling from SECRET's golden days. She perfectly recreated the concept used during promotions for their hit song 'Shy Boy,' leading fans to enthustiastically react while anticipating a potential reunion

However, the reunion project will not include all of the original members. Han Sunhwa, who left the group in 2016, is currently focusing entirely on her acting career. Meanwhile, Song Jieun is also not actively pursuing music activities at this time. As a result, Jeon Hyosung and Jung Hana will lead the group's new chapter alongside a new member.

Debuting in 2009, SECRET became one of the representative 2nd Gen girl group with hit songs like 'Magic,' 'Madonna,' 'Shy Boy,' 'Starlight Moonlight,' 'Love is Move,' and 'Poison.' The group built a strong identity with their bright, approachable image alongside solid vocal skills, earning widespread popularity during their peak years.

In particular, since the group activities had effectively stopped following the release of their mini-album 'SECRET SUMMER' in 2014, this comeback news has been especially welcomed by fans. Attention is now focused on what kind of image and music SECRET will present when they finally return to stage once again after such a long hiatus.

Singer and actor Park Jihoon has revealed the role he wants to take on in the future in a recent interview with Newsen.

Park Jihoon had already built his experience as a child actor long before making his debut in 2017 with Wanna One through Mnet's 'Produce 101 Season 2.' Since then, he has starred in dramas such as 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,' 'Love Revolution,' 'At a Distance, Spring Is Green,' 'Love Song for Illusion,' 'Weak Hero Class 1,' 'Weak Hero Class 2,' movie 'Beautiful Audrey,' and more. In particular, he also starred in 'The King's Warden' which was released in February and attracted a cumulative viewers of 16.88 million viewers as of June 2nd, earning nicknames like 'Danjong Oppa' and '16 million viewers actor.'

From Yeon Sieun in 'Weak Hero,' to Lee Hongwi in 'The King's Warden,' and now Kang Sungjae in 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,' Park Jihoon already has several signature roles recognized by the public. In a recent interview with Newsen, he shared, "I'm always grateful when people call me by my character names. Sometimes, it feels even better than hearing my own name." He continued:

"When people called me 'Sungjae-ya' instead of 'Jihoon-ah' during the filming of 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldierm' it made me feel like I was doing a good job. When someone unconsciously calls me by my character name, it feels amazing."

Park Jihoon also shares the type of character he wants to challenge himself next:, "If I have one wish, I'd love to play a bad guy. Most of the characters I've played have been kind-hearted people who stand up against injustice. Honestly, I'm curious about how I would portray a villain role." He added:

"I want to become the worst person in the world. You know how when an actors stars in a daily dramas and the aunties in the restaurant would get completely immersend and talk about them? I'm curious about how people would look at me if I played a villain role in a successful project. I'm curious about what I would feel on set while portraying that role and how I would express it."

'Danjong Oppa' Park Jihoon declares his enlistment in the Marine Corps next year: "Even if my agency opposes it, I'm going"

Singer and actor Park Jihoon has declared his intention to enlist in the Marine Corps next year in a recent interview with Newsen

Park Jihoon is currently starring in the TVING's 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier' as Kang Sungjae, a private who gradually becomes a legendary military cook. Because of his standout performance, the drama is achieving huge success on its release platforms. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama started off with a viewer ratings of 5.847% and later rose to 7.9%, dominating its time slot across all channels. It also maintained its No.1 position on TVING.

As someone who has yet completed his mandatory military service, Park Jihoon claimed to have experienced the military life indirectly from the drama, saying, "We filmed the training scenes in the mountains in freezing weather. It felt like I could get frostbite if I didn't have heat packs all over my body. Whenever the director shouted 'cut,' I would rush into the tent to warm up by the heater." He also showed his passion as a military enthusiast, saying:

"I found those brief moments were enjoyable. Whenever I had to film scenes with a rifle, I would get into shooting positions and aim. I was completely immersed by myself, like an elementary school kid playing pretend. It's a shame there isn't any behind-the-scenes footage of it. I had so much fun running around, hiding behind trees, and joking around, but none of it was captured. It's such a bum."

However, when asked whether the drama would help prepare him for the real military service, Park Jihoon replied, "No. I don't think it will help. I think the actual military life will be completely different. It will be much tougher than this, especially since I'm going to apply for one of the more demanding units. I think will be far more challenging and exhausting."

He added, "It made me realize just how exhausting it must be for military cooks. They wake up earlier than everyone else and finish later than everyone else. They may not be out in the middle of battlefields, but they have their own difficulties. We filmed at Gangrim Guard Post which has relatively few personnel, but I imagine it would be much harder for military cooks in larger units or dining facilities."

While it is human nature to choose the easier path, Park Jihoon's determination to join the Marine Corps remain unchanged, saying:

"Since I only get one chance to enlist, I might as well go somewhere challenging. Calling it 'unique' might sound a bit odd. I'm not saying the other branches aren't special, but the Marines require applicants to pass additional tests. I think going through that process would teach me valuable lessons."

Since the Marine Corps enlistment age limit is 29, Park Jihoon, who turned 28 this year, effectively has about one year remaining to apply. Regarding his enlistment plans, he said:

"I'm not sure exactly when yet, but if possible, I should go sooner while it's still easier physically. To be honest, I have to enlist next year. I don't know what month, but next year is my final chance to join the Marines, so I absolutely have to enlist next year.

He also emphasized his determination to enlist in the Military Corps, saying:

"Even if my agency tells me not to enlist in the Marine Corps, I'm going to anyway. I'm enlisting next year. Please make sure to write it down like that in the article. I don't want to postpone my enlistment anymore. I want to fulfill my obligations to serve the country next year. Of course, I still need to apply and pass the tests, but even if I fail that the test, I still want to join the Marines. I'm not saying this because there's someone in my family who in the Marines, it's just that I want to. I'd be very grateful if you could write in the article that I'm enlisting next year."

When asked if he has any worries regarding his military hiatus, Park Jihoon answered, "A lot of actors seem to have pre-filmed projects released while they're serving in the military, so fans might think, 'Oh? He's already back?' I'm not sure about the details of my future schedules, but I think that kind of arrangement would probably be the ideal situation.

"She was married, but we dated" ... Cha Gawon's uncle exposes test messages in which MC Mong admits to an affair

According to a recent report by MyDaily, private text messages between singer-producer MC Mong and P.Ark Group and One Hundred Label Chairwoman Cha Gawon were revealed, drawing significant attention from the public.

In this episode, Cha Gawon's uncle and also the head of a major construction development company identified as Mr. A appeared and exposed the raw, unfiltered messages that he claimed to have received directly from MC Mong. In the messages, MC Mong allegedly wrote:

"I dated Gawon. Three years ago, she asked me out. After thinking about it for a long time, I agreed to date her. Even though she was married, she told me she was in the process of getting a divorce. I was grateful for how much she took care of and protected me. As a man, I gambled. I gambled with Cha Gawon. She also helped me pay off some of my gambling debts."

Mr. A claimed that after receiving those messages, MC Mong personally visited him and threatened to expose his relationship with Cha Gawon to the media, engaging in intimidation and attempted extortion.

However, the explanations from Cha Gawon are completely different. She strongly countered:

"If I open my mouth, a lot of people will get hurt. The entire entertainment industry could turn completely upside down."

Cha Gawon explained that she came to know MC Mong after he asked for help because investors were withdrawing from his company. Hower, starting in early 2025, Cha Gawon repeatedly received reports about his involvement in prostitution, which made her feel deeply betrayed. After causing problems and leaving, MC Mong joined forces with Mr. A. Cha Gawon added, "If it weren't for that, the company would never have ended up in this situation."

In short, Cha Gawon's side maintains that the allegations regarding their private lives are completely false and part of an attempt by the two men to seize control of the company. MC Mong also denied the affair allegations and directed criticism toward the broadcasting station, stating that the messages had been fabricated and pieced together maliciously.

Later, MC Mong expressed his frustation during a livestream, saying:

"I intend to fight this with my reputation on the line. I will hold them accountable for taking away the last 18 years of my life. I will also file a damages lawsuit worth approximately 100 billion KRW against the producers of 'PD Note.'"

Lee Sangmin added, "They now have nine MVs that have surpassed 100 million views," pointing out the group's unstoppable momentum since their debut track, 'Fearless.'

When Tak Jaehoon asked, "Don't you feel anxious?" Huh Yunjin answered, "Of course I do. We have to do well this time too." Regarding the group's 'Spaghetti' challenge that became a global trend, Kim Chaewon expressed her gratitude, saying, "So many people joined the challenge," and Huh Yunjin added, "During our 'Spaghetti' promotions, I bleached my eyebrows. A lot of people asked if I shaved them off, but I personally really loved the look." Hong Eunchae replied, "I thought it looked cool too, but I wouldn't try it myself."

Tak Jaehoon then asked, "Who thinks they've changed a bit after becoming this popular?" Kim Chaewon raised her hand and explained, "We were eating at a restaurant and someone kept staring in my direction. I thought, 'They definitely recognize me. What do I do now? Should I offer them an autograph?' but it turned out that the menu board was right behind me. They weren't looking at me. They were looking at the menu."

Lee Suji made everyone laugh as she shared a similar experience, saying, "The same thing happened to me last week. An old man was walking directly toward me at the Gangnam Express Bus Terminal. I thought, 'Wow, even older people recognize me now. This is amazing,' so I confidently brushed my hair back. Then he asked me, 'Excuse me. Where can I catch the bus to Busan?' So I ended up giving him directions."

Lee Suji then asked, "Your first paycheck must've been pretty huge. How did it feel?" Tak Jaehoon joked, "You each got around 20 billion KRW, right? You don't? I dont' believe that." While Huh Yunjin recalled:

"We were all in the practice room when the CEO personally came in to tell us that we were finally getting paid. The very first thing I did was call my mom. I bought her a luxury handbag as a gift, but she doesn't use it very often."

Hearing this, Tak Jaehoon joked, "She's probably keeping it in good condition so she can resell it later," drawing laughter from everyone.

Sakura: "I look the prettiest when I cry" ... LE SSERAFIM reveals they have separate folder for 'crying selfies'

According to a recent report by Segye Ilbo, LE SSERAFIM members appeared on the episode of SBS' 'AGJ' that aired on the 1st to promote their new song, 'BOOMPALA,' and shared a variety of storied. They also confidently praised their own visuals while playfully exposing each other's quirky habits.

In this episode, the members opened up about their looks and what they consider to be their 'visual peak era.' Huh Yunjin confidently said, "I think I'm in my peak these days. I went blonde again for the first time in a while and it really boosted my confidence."

Upon hearing this, the other members immediately started teasing her. Hong Eunchae revealed, "Even on the way to the set today, she kept saying, 'I'm in my peak these days,'" and Sakura added with a laugh, "Lately, she looks in the mirror every single day and says, 'Blonde hair really suits me.'"

An unexpected situation unfolded when they had to vote for the 'No. 1 visual' in the group. Without a moment of hesitation, every single member confidently chose herself. On top of that, Kang Sora and Lee Suji also voted for themselves, adding to the fun. Kang Sora joked, "I have the mature beauty that comes with age," and added, "I'm the only one here who can pull off a sexy concept."

The conversation naturally moved on to the moments when they feel they look the most beautiful. Kim Chaewon said, "There are days when my makeup turns out absolutely perfect. Strangely, those are always the days where filming finishes early. When that happens, I can't help bu think, 'It's such a waste to wash this face off today.' So I end up taking lots of photos or even turning on a live broadcast."

Hearing this, Sakura stated, "There have been times when I stopped in the middle of removing my makeup because it felt like such a waste," and added:

"Personally, I think I look the prettiest when I cry. When I cry, I take selfies. When things get hard or when I cry, I would look in the mirror and think, 'I look pretty, so it's going to be okay.' It actually helps me compose myself."

Following this, Kazuha shared that she once took a selfie to capture the moment after crying while watching a movie by herself, describing the experience as something romantic. Kim Chaewon also shared her experience:

"I don't cry very often, so whenever I do, I feel like it's something I should document."

Meanwhile, Huh Yunjin shared the most surprising confession:

"I'm someone who gets emotional very easily. I have a separate folder dedicated to my crying selfies."

The studio reacted with surprise because even her fellow members hadn't known about it. When a picture of Huh Yunjin crying was shown, Lee Suji commented, "Even while crying, you still look so pretty."

However, Hong Eunchae was the only one member who couldn't seem to relate. She brought big laughs as she said:

"I genuinely don't understand why they take selfies when they cry. They always send it to the group chat. I have no idea how I'm supposed to respond to that."

Ji Changwook reportedly undergoes a special tax investigation by the National Tax Service ... Rumored to face billions of KRW in additional taxes

According to a recent report by Sports Chosun, the National Tax Service carried out a non-routine tax investigation against actor Ji Changwook in March.

The National Tax Service reportedly identified several issues while reviewing tax filings and expense processing records. As a result, they imposed additional taxes totaling several billion KRW. However, the exact amount of the penalty has not been disclosed.

As of now, Ji Changwook's side has not released any official response regarding the reports. This case is drawing even more attention because the audit was reportedly conducted as a special tax investigation rather than a routine one.

Recently, it was also revealed that actor Lee Minki also paid additional taxes following a tax audit. At the time, his agency explained, "This matter arose from differences in the interpretation of tax laws regarding expense processing standards during the operation of a corporation. There was no intentional tax evasion or concealment of income. The penalty has been paid in full according to the proper procedures."

Meanwhile, Ji Changwook is currently greeting audiences through 'Colony,' a film directed by Yeon Sangho.

Kim Soohyun's legal representative on the possibility of his return: "In consideration"

According to a recent report by MHN Sports, the possibility of actor Kim Soohyun making his return to the entertainment industry recently became a hot topic across social media.

On the 1st, attorney Go Sangrok, the legal representative of Kim Soohyun, made an appearance on YTN Radio's 'Wise Radio Life.' When asked about Kim Soohyun's plans to return to the entertainment industry, he replied:

"His agency is currently reviewing the specific details for his return. We will continue doing our best to support him so that he can stand before the public again through a new project."

Attorney Go Sangrok also shared an update on Kim Soohyun's current condition:

"Kim Soohyun suffered from a severe cybercrime to the point that his reputation and dignity were nearly destroyed. The highest priority right now is for him to return to his normal daily life.

Regarding the damages lawsuit, attorney Go Sangrok also explained:

"Rather than focusing solely on the 30 billion KRW, what matters now right now is creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment that allows Kim Soohyun to return to where he belongs."

Along with this, attorney Go Sangrok commented on the legal case involving Kim Se-ui, the CEO of Youtube channel Garo Sero Research Institute, saying, "It is extremely rare for an arrest warrant application to exceed 30 pages. We understand that the police and prosecution are highly confident in their ability to prove the charges against Kim Se-ui and his accomplices."

Previously, Kim Se-ui raised allegations that the late actress Kim Saeron had been in a romantic relationship with Kim Soohyun while she was a minor. In response, Kim Soohyun held a press conference in March of last year, completely denied the allegations by stating, "I did not date her when she was a minor," and suspended his entertainment activities since then.

On May 26, Kim Se-ui was arrested on charges including defamation and violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (for filming and distributing images). Meanwhile, the Seoul Central District Court is scheduled to hold a review hearing for Kim Se-ui's detention on the 2nd.

Kim Junsu recalls traumatic experiences with Sasaengs: "Someone forcibly kissed Kim Jaejoong in his room ... They even went into the bathroom stalls while TVXQ's members were using the restroom"

According to a recent report by Star News, singer and musical actor Kim Junsu opened up about the shocking incidents he suffered because of Sasaengs in the past.

On the 1st, a video titled 'Hearing about Kim Junsu's journey from being an idol to winning a major musical acting award' was posted on Sung Sikyung's official Youtube channel.

In the video, Sung Sikyung started by mentioning his recent encounter with Aespa at the airport, saying, "Not long ago, I was on the same flight as Aespa. It wasn't a situation where the manager can protect all four members at once. They were surrounded by about 30 people. They looked completely exhausted. Then, he recalled:

"Yunho used to carry four phone batteries around. He received calls every single minute. When I asked what was going on, he said, 'Ah, it's the fans...' Even after changing his phone number, he would receive messages saying, 'Congratulations on your new number.'"

Hearing this, Kim Junsu replied, "Right after I got a new phone number, I received a call during my ride back to the dorm. When I answered, they said, 'Did you really think I wouldn't find out?' I felt like my world collapsed at that moment."

He then went on to share another terrifying incident that happened in their dorm:

"All the members were watching a horror movie together in the living room. The sensor light at the front door kept turning on. When we checked, no one was there. So we continued watching the movie for the next 30 minutes despite sensing something was off. At first, I thought, 'There's no way...' but when we checked again, there was this woman with lion-like hair standing right beside the entrance. She had already broken inside."

After they threatened to call the police, they managed to kick that woman out and went to bed. He explained that they were awakened by a noise:

"Suddenly, Changmin dashed out the door shouting, 'Hyung!' and then I saw a woman's legs running up towards the second floor. At that moment, Jaejoong said someone tried to kiss him while he was sleeping."

Their manager managed to restrain the woman until the police arrived. Kim Junsu added, "She was smiling even in that situation. The police took her away, but later they released her, saying, 'It's not like she threatened you.' It was genuinely terrifying."

Kim Junsu also recalled another incident that took place in public restrooms, saying, "We were using the urinals when a group of female fans walked out of the bathroom stalls. We were urinating, but they stood right next to us and asked for autographs. Things like that happened way too often." He added, "At some point, those Sasaengs eventually disappeared and I was able to move past the trauma, but I think that happened throughout my entire 20s."

Aespa surrounded by around 30 Sasaengs at the airport ... Sung Sikyung: "They look completely exhausted"

According to a recent report by Sports Chosun, singer Sung Sikyung recently shared his experience of witnessing Sasaengs crowding girl group Aespa at the airport.

On the 1st, a video titled 'Hearing about Kim Junsu's journey from being an idol to winning a major musical acting award' was posted on Sung Sikyung's official Youtube channel.

In the video, Kim Junsu spoke about the harassment he experienced from Sasaengs during his time in TVXQ. Hearing this, Sung Sikyung mentioned his recent experience being on the same flight with Aespa:

"It must be really hard for Aespa. The Sasaengs actually were on the same flight with them. After we cleared immigration and exited, there were about 30 people waiting, completely surrounding them. The members looked completely drained. It wasn't a situation where the manager can protect all four members at once. It made me think that people really needs to stop doing things like that."

Hearing this, Kim Junsu responded, "So nothing has changed. Sometimes, the Sasaengs even sit nearby," pointing out that idols still face the very same problems today.

When Sung Sikyung said, "I don't think people who cross personal boundaries can be considered as fans," Kim Junsu shared his own experiences:

"Looking back, it actually makes me want to give up. The moment I activated a new phone number, I received a call during my ride back to the dorm. When I answered, they said, 'Did you really think I wouldn't find out?' I felt like my world collapsed at that moment."

Child actress from 'My Royal Nemesis' completely edited out … Mother: “She practiced nine lines of dialogue” What happened?

SOURCE: ‘멋진 신세계’ 아역, 통편집 당했다‥母 “9줄 대사 연습했는데” 무슨 일?

It has been revealed that child actress Lee Seojeong was entirely edited out of SBS' Friday-Saturday drama 'My Royal Nemesis.'

On May 31, Lee Seojeong's mother wrote on her official account, "After receiving her very first audition confirmation for the role of young Taehee in 'My Royal Nemesis,' Seojeong prepared and filmed with a fluttering heart. Unfortunately, her scenes were cut from the broadcast because the production exceeded its runtime. Therefore, she won't be seen on the broadcast."

She continued, "Of course we're disappointed, but we also learned another lesson through this experience. Results do not always match the ammount of effort put in, but I'm sure the time Seojeong spent to challenge herself and the experience itself will pile up and remain inside her, right?"

She also shared, "After being cast, she practiced her nine lines of dialogue for a long time. Standing on set, acting in front of the camera, and working alongside wonderful staff members and older casts on the set became precious memories that no one can ever edit out." She added, "One project has passed, but she's already filming another project with her spirits up. Stay strong, Lee Seojeong," offering words of encouragement for her daughter.

Lee Seojeong was cast as the younger version of Mo Taehee, played by actress Chae Seo-an. However, it has been reported that her scenes did not make it to air due to runtime adjustments during the final editing process.

Upon hearing the news, viewers left supportive messages such as, "It's a shame. I was curious about Taehee's childhood story too," "I'm sure she'll appear in an even better project soon," "I hope this still becomes a valuable experience for her," and more.

Meanwhile, 'My Royal Nemesis' is a romance drama that follows Shin Seori (played by Lim Jiyeon), an obscure actress who turns 'wicked' after being possessed by the spirit of a notorious villain from Joseon era, and Cha Segye (played by Heo Namjoon), a ruthless Chaebol who is often described as a monster of capitalism. The drama airs every Friday and Saturday at 9.50 PM (KST).
